ABSTRACT
This
essay
explores
the
complex
nature
of
forgiveness
and
unforgiveness
as
responses
to
wrongdoing.
Traditionally,
has
been
framed
a
process
that
promotes
psychological
relational
well‐being,
whereas
is
often
viewed
harmful.
Perhaps
because
these
tendencies,
researchers
have
documented
many
benefits
associated
with

paid
less
attention
possibility

situations
in

legitimate,

perhaps

adaptive.
We
propose
psychology

benefit
from
systematic
investigation

complexity,

moral
dimensions,

more
comprehensive

we
seek
not
diminish
or
prior
research

rather,
encourage
balanced
perspective

worldwide;

dramatically
COVID-19
pandemic.
Yet,
in
context
COVID-19,
new
demands
on
labour
market,
such
as
teleworking,
adequate
protective
measures,
proper
use
personal
equipment
when
physical
presence
cannot
be
avoided,
necessitating
approaches
ensure
health
safety.
Arguably,
education
can
viewed
cross-cutting
strategy
advance
culture
safety
future
generations,
through
strengthening
skills
broadening
knowledge.
Indeed,
even
though
considered
panacea,

SDG
4,
seeks
inclusive
equitable
quality

lifelong
learning
all,
