This study examines the interplay between psychological resilience, job satisfaction and research motivation among teachers at Saudi Arabian universities. Particular attention is paid to relationship academic performance well-being. The data based on a survey of 321 faculty members, descriptive statistics correlations are used. instruments included self-developed scale measure these constructs, analysis was conducted using SPSS software. findings revealed moderate levels, with significant correlation resilience both motivation. Abstract Background The ongoing global crisis of Higher Education (HE) institutions during the post-COVID-19 pandemic period has increased likelihood enduring psychological stressors for staff. This study aimed to identify factors associated with job insecurity, burnout, distress and coping amongst staff working at HE globally. Methods An anonymous cross-sectional was conducted in 2023 across 16 countries. Job insecurity measured using Insecurity Scale (JIS), burnout Perceived Burnout measure question, Kessler Psychological Distress (K10), Brief Resilient Coping Scale. Multivariable logistic regression a stepwise variable selection method used associations. Results A total 2,353 participated; mean age (± SD) 43(± 10) years 61% were females. Most (85%) did not feel one-third (29%) perceived their jobs, more than two-thirds (73%) experienced moderate very high levels distress, half (58%) exhibited medium resilient coping. part-time [Adjusted Odds Ratio 1.53 (95% Confidence Intervals 1.15–2.02)], having an academic appointment [2.45 (1.78–3.27)], multiple co-morbidities [1.86 (1.41–2.48)], [1.99 (1.54–2.56)] level [1.68 (1.18–2.39)]. being female [1.35 (1.12–1.63)], [1.53 (1.20–1.97)], (1.55–2.57)], [3.23 (2.42–4.30)]. Based on the job demands-resources model and conservation of resource theory, this study investigated 456 Chinese college teachers’ work stress, stress mindset, resilience, emotional exhaustion, positive affect, negative affect. The results mediation analysis showed that resilience played a partial role between outcomes (emotional affect). Emergency transformation of the education system due to COVID-19 increased mental and emotional disorders risks educators in higher institutions. Lecturers face a large wide of occupational stressors. If the prolonged stress and symptomatology associated with working conditions to which lecturers were exposed already concern before pandemic, pandemic may have exacerbated this psychosocial vulnerability. Burnout is psychological syndrome that develops in response chronic work stress. This study aims describe burnout amongst Portugal analyse potential determinants during COVID-19 pandemic.A cross-sectional was performed using an online questionnaire distributed via social networks. The survey collected sociodemographic sleep patterns data addition applying Copenhagen Inventory (personal, work- student-related burnout), Resilience Scale, Depression Anxiety Stress Scales, Satisfaction Life Scale.The sample included 331 from 35 different colleges faculties.
