Background: Mental illness indicators increased among U.S. university students in recent years; COVID-19 associated disruptions presented additional mental health challenges for students. Aim: This research aimed to assess the relationship between coping strategies identified by and scores on resilience flourishing scales identify themes that described student experiences during pandemic. Background/Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic profoundly affected university students globally, exacerbating their already existing academic stress. This study investigates how the first lockdown (March-July 2020) differently impacted Portuguese, Spanish, and Brazilian students' perceived stress, personal well-being, engagement, performance. Methods: An online survey collected responses from 1081 (78.17% female; Mage = 25.43 years, SD 9.27). Qualitative data on stressors were analyzed using content analysis. Cross-country differences assessed through chi-square analyses ANOVAs. This study investigates the gendered dimensions of wellbeing students in higher education within a South African context. Studies on frequently lean towards reporting significant findings differences. In current study, quantitative survey research was conducted to explore experiences undergraduate students. Gender variables were captured with non-restrictive self-descriptive options. The combined three psychometric instruments, Mental Health Continuum Short Form (MHC-SF), Flourishing Scale (FS), and Fragility Happiness (FOHS) an online format. A purposive sampling strategy employed, distributed electronically via email. Participants (n = 160) at urban university Africa. underlying factor structure instruments context confirmed using confirmatory analysis, reliability validity established Cronbach’s alpha (internal consistency) correlations (construct validity). Goldberg, Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10), Inventory Measuring Coping (Mini-COPE) Carver et al. Pearson's chi-square test multivariate logistic regression statistical analysis.The results detailing subjects, as measured GHQ-28, significantly worse group surveyed than survey (adjusted odds ratio GHQ-28 ≥ 5: 3.66, 95%CI 2.12-6.30, p < 0.001). FS based on well-being theories that include meaning and purpose in life, involvement activities, social relationships, feelings of competence. psychometric properties the have been studied several countries. However, research provides reports reliability validity for Indonesian version is limited. aim study was, therefore, evaluate which reliability, internal structure, convergent validity. 1129 respondents completed FS, Positive Negative Experience (SPANE), Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9). Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients indicate a good consistency FS. result Confirmatory Factor Analysis confirmed single-factor structure fit data. Multi-Group showed measurement invariance across two subsamples. results correlation test show significant between with SPANE PHQ-9.
