Objectives This study aimed to explore the mediating role of resilience and resignation coping in relationship between consultation empathy depression patients with COVID-19. Design Cross-sectional study. Setting Participants were recruited from a tertiary hospital Guangzhou, Guangdong province. Although succession planning benefits workforce development, rural economic stability, and the sustainability of a farm, few farmers in Canada have written plan. As farming population ages fewer people enter profession, understanding what promotes to prepare plans is essential. Our study aimed understand (a) priorities farm operators for developing plan, (b) factors that delay or motivate planning, (c) resources would be helpful creating Using dyadic multiple case methodology, we interviewed 35 participants from 16 farms Alberta, Canada. The thematic analysis revealed seven themes influencing decisions develop plan: legacy identity, physical health, government policies, growth, professional guidance expertise, family dynamics, culture norms. From themes, two overarching variables—risk perception self-efficacy—shaped farmers’ readiness informed development Farm Succession Readiness Framework. Farming is widely regarded as a highly stressful occupation, and many farming stressors have been studied globally. Research on in Canada scarce, yet there some indication that Canadian farmers high perceived stress scores score more severely across mental health outcomes compared to the general population. Purpose To address safety risks, worker well-being concerns and productivity losses in construction due to substance misuse, this study aims explore awareness usage levels of various substances among Nigerian professionals. The findings aim inform targeted interventions policy development tackle these industry-specific challenges. Design/methodology/approach A comprehensive literature review identified several intoxicants commonly used construction, which informed the a well-structured questionnaire. This questionnaire was distributed both professionals nonprofessionals. Shapiro-Wilk test assessed normality utilization scores for each substance, while Kruskal-Wallis H-test explored significant differences different respondent groups. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic impact on public health, extending to the food system and people's livelihoods worldwide, including Bangladesh. This study aimed ascertain impacts livelihood assets in North-Western areas (Rajshahi Rangpur) of Primary data were collected from 320 farmers engaged high-value agriculture using multistage sampling method. analysed first-order structural equation modelling. findings reveal significant (p < 0.01) all Notably, human exhibited highest impact, with coefficient 0.740, followed sequentially by financial (0.709), social (0.684), natural (0.600), physical (0.542), psychological (0.537) assets. Farmers globally face significant occupational stressors and are reported to experience high levels of depression, anxiety, burnout, suicide ideation, suicide. While the impacts stress poor mental health have been well-studied in general population, some extent, specific occupations, on farmers understudied. The objective here was explore lived (or) Canadian farmers, including perceived impacts. Using a phenomenological approach within constructivist paradigm, we conducted 75 one-on-one research interviews with people who work closely Ontario, Canada, between July 2017 May 2018. We analysed data via thematic analyses identified four major themes.
