This study addresses the growing interest in Dry Eye Disease (DED) by evaluating quality of DED videos on YouTube, gauging audience engagement, and identifying factors influencing viewership. In this cross-sectional study, we collected videos, during July to September 2023, using keyword 'dry eye'. A data collection form, including general characteristics engagement metrics, was employed. Two medical experts rated Patient Education Materials Assessment Tool-Audio Visual (PEMAT-A/V) custom clinical scoring tool. Among total 52 assessed, 80.8% speakers were Medical Doctors. Regarding symptoms, only 21.2% mentioned excessive tearing 34.6% stated blurry vision. The majority (69.2%) eye drops as a treatment. Lifestyle modification limiting screen use addressed videos. ABSTRACT Compromised hydration and biolubrication leads to untreatable disorders like osteoarthritis (OA), dry eye disease (DED) mouth (xerostomia). Only symptomatic treatment is possible through bioactive molecules. This study aims investigate the properties of natural modified phytoglycogen nanoparticles (PGNPs) which have shown superlubricious behaviour at mica‐mica sliding interface. PGNPs were cationised (CPGNPs) by modifying hydroxyl groups into quaternary amine groups. Dynamic light scattering (DLS) was used characterise size zeta‐potential both PGNPs. Abstract Background This study aims to assess how Romanian medical students suffer from dry eye disease symptoms, establish the prevalence and severity of (DE) symptoms identify potential risk factors. Methods An analytical, cross-sectional was conducted on “Carol Davila” University Medicine, Romania, after final examination period July 2022. Scalable and sustainable synthesis of key fragments with a low environmental impact is crucial for API synthesis. Herein, we report the benzofuran-6-carboxylic acid, fragment drug lifitegrast used treating keratoconjunctivitis sicca.
