The aim of the present study was to evaluate oral resveratrol effects associated with diet and physical training changes on anthropometric biochemical parameters. 25 individuals aged from 30 60 years old; Body Mass Index (BMI) ≥ kg/m2 were included in study. Following primary evaluation (anthropometric clinical), patients randomly divided into 2 groups: (1) Placebo: Physical activity program + Diet Placebo; (2) Resveratrol: Resveratrol (RVS) (250 mg/day) for three months. Anthropometric parameters evaluated at baseline after treatment period. main findings showed that supplementation improved total cholesterol (TC), High-density Lipoprotein (HDL-c), Very-low density (VLDL-c), urea, creatinine albumin serum levels. These indicate this polyphenol may be an option potentiate beneficial induced by dietary programs Metabolic Syndrome (MetS) treatment.

Polyphenols (PPs) are a large group of phytochemicals containing phenolic rings with two or more hydroxyl groups. They possess powerful antioxidant properties, multiple therapeutic effects, and possible health benefits in vivo vitro, as well reported clinical studies. Considering their free-radical scavenging anti-inflammatory these substances can be used to treat different kinds conditions associated metabolic disorders. Many symptoms syndrome (MtS), including obesity, dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis, elevated blood sugar, accelerating aging, liver intoxication, hypertension, cancer neurodegenerative disorders, substantially relieved by dietary PPs. The present study explores the bioprotective properties underlying mechanisms A detailed understanding natural compounds will open up new opportunities for producing unique PP-rich medicinal plans, ultimately affirming benefits.

As the greatest defense organ of body, skin is exposed to endogenous and external stressors that produce reactive oxygen species (ROS). When antioxidant system body fails eliminate ROS, oxidative stress initiated, which results in cellular senescence, inflammation, cancer. Two main possible mechanisms underlie stress-induced One mechanism ROS directly degrade biological macromolecules, including proteins, DNA, lipids, are essential for cell metabolism, survival, genetics. Another one mediate signaling pathways, such as MAPK, JAK/STAT, PI3K/AKT/mTOR, NF-κB, Nrf2, SIRT1/FOXO, affecting cytokine release enzyme expression. natural antioxidants, plant polyphenols safe exhibit a therapeutic potential. We here discuss detail potential selected polyphenolic compounds outline relevant molecular targets. Polyphenols study according their structural classification include curcumin, catechins, resveratrol, quercetin, ellagic acid, procyanidins. Finally, latest delivery (taking curcumin an example) current status clinical research summarized, providing theoretical foundation future generation new pharmaceuticals cosmetics.

Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of risk factors, including abdominal obesity, insulin resistance, hypertension, dyslipidemia (intended as an increase in triglyceride levels and reduction HDL cholesterol levels), elevated fasting glucose, that the cardiovascular disease type 2 diabetes. With rising prevalence metabolic syndrome, effective dietary interventions are essential reducing these health risks. The Mediterranean diet, rich fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, olive oil moderate fish poultry, has shown promise addressing its associated components. This diet’s anti-inflammatory antioxidant properties, primarily due to unsaturated fats, polyphenols, fiber, have improved blood pressure, lipid levels, sensitivity. Adherence diet been linked reductions central obesity both key elements managing syndrome. Regarding management, lowers low-density lipoprotein (LDL) while raising high-density (HDL) cholesterol, enhancing profiles. It also helps regulate glucose likelihood developing Additionally, promotes weight loss improves body composition, particularly by decreasing visceral fat, primary driver according IDF classification. offers holistic approach related chronic diseases. In recent years, a great deal of attention has been paid to natural compounds due their many biological effects. Polyphenols are class plant derivatives that have widely investigated for preventing and treating oxidative stress-related pathological conditions, such as neurodegenerative cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes mellitus inflammation. Among these polyphenols, resveratrol (RSV) attracted considerable interest owing its high antioxidant free radical scavenging activities. However, the poor water solubility rapid metabolism RSV lead low bioavailability, thus limiting clinical efficacy. After discussing main biochemical mechanisms involved in activities, this review will focus on strategies attempted improve effectiveness, both systemic topical administration. particular, technological approaches involving incorporation into different delivery systems liposomes, polymeric lipid nanoparticles, microemulsions cyclodextrins be illustrated, highlighting potential applications. addition, chemical modifications aimed at improving physicochemical properties described along with results vitro vivo studies.

Mitochondrial fission is a crucial process in maintaining metabolic homeostasis normal physiology and under conditions of stress. Its dysregulation has been associated with several diseases, including, but not limited to, obesity, type 2 diabetes (T2DM), cardiovascular diseases. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) serve vital role the genesis these conditions, mitochondria are both main sites ROS production primary targets ROS. In this review, we explore physiological pathological roles mitochondrial fission, its regulation by dynamin-related protein 1 (Drp1), interplay between health We also discuss potential therapeutic strategies targeting through antioxidant treatments for ROS-induced including effects lifestyle interventions, dietary supplements, chemicals, such as division inhibitor-1 (Mdivi-1) other inhibitors, well certain commonly used drugs This review highlights importance understanding approach to protecting against conditions.
