The aim of the present study was to evaluate oral resveratrol effects associated with diet and physical training changes on anthropometric biochemical parameters. 25 individuals aged from 30 60 years old; Body Mass Index (BMI) ≥ kg/m2 were included in study. Following primary evaluation (anthropometric clinical), patients randomly divided into 2 groups: (1) Placebo: Physical activity program + Diet Placebo; (2) Resveratrol: Resveratrol (RVS) (250 mg/day) for three months. Anthropometric parameters evaluated at baseline after treatment period. main findings showed that supplementation improved total cholesterol (TC), High-density Lipoprotein (HDL-c), Very-low density (VLDL-c), urea, creatinine albumin serum levels. These indicate this polyphenol may be an option potentiate beneficial induced by dietary programs Metabolic Syndrome (MetS) treatment.

Introduction Metabolic syndrome comprises a collection of metabolic disorders stemming from factors like genetic predisposition, inadequate nutrition, stress, decreased physical activity, aging, and ethnicity. Although traditional pharmaceutical treatments exist for syndrome, their limited popularity is attributed to high costs adverse effects. Consequently, natural products with fewer side effects have been explored managing this condition. This literature review aims explore the role including herbs, botanicals, vitamins, minerals, probiotics, dietary supplements in syndrome. Methods scoping was conducted five steps, involving formulation research question, retrieval extraction relevant studies, selection pertinent organization information into tables, reporting results. Data collected various databases Embase, Science Direct, PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, Web Science, focus on studies published 2010 present, available English full-text accessibility. Results We identified 1,259 articles, screened titles, abstracts, full texts, ultimately incorporating 169 articles (comprising 90 32 trial 6 vitro 38 vivo 1 experimental article 2 observational articles). The study’s outcomes revealed that products, encompassing plants derivatives, vitamins supplements, as well can exert beneficial influence by regulating blood sugar, pressure, lipid profiles, obesity, abnormal cholesterol triglyceride levels. Conclusion current study underscores significance addressing it advisable conduct further extensive assess efficacy these potentially integrating them treatment regimens individuals

Polyphenols are organic chemical compounds naturally present in plants, renowned for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immunomodulatory, anticancer, and cardiovascular protective properties. Their bioactivity bioavailability can vary widely depending on the methods of food processing interactions with gut microbiome. These factors induce changes polyphenols, affecting ability to achieve intended health benefits. Thus, it is essential develop apply that optimize polyphenol content while maintaining bioavailability. This review aims explore how various techniques affect quantity, bioactivity, as well microbiome, which may ultimately determine effects.

Studies in animal models of diabetes and obesity have shown that resveratrol mitigates complications metabolic diseases, beyond those resulting from oxidative stress. Furthermore, results obtained with cultured preadipocytes also revealed prolonged treatment impairs adipogenesis. Considering the role adipocytes hypertrophy fat stores, keeping mind insulin is main trigger excessive energy storage during post-prandial periods, present study aimed to investigate how short-term effects can limit glucose disposal a gut-adipose tissue axis. We found exhibits more potent inhibitory capacity towards α-glucosidase than pancreatic lipase activity. Resveratrol rapidly blunts transport mature cells by counteracting effect insulin-like lipogenic agents. Within two hours, inhibited incorporation into lipids adipocytes, which was unaffected membrane cholesterol depletion. Moreover, comparison between invalidated semicarbazide-sensitive amine oxidase activity their control, or several inhibitors, did not indicate recently described interaction oxidases involved its antilipogenic effect. Caffeine piceatannol, previously said interact carriers, inhibit lipogenesis whereas other antioxidant phytochemicals do reproduce such an This highlights diverse first steps accumulation, indicating this natural molecule derivatives deserve further studies develop potential anti-obesity properties.
