Skeletal muscle health is essential for metabolic homeostasis, and dysregulated apoptosis in cells can lead to wasting degenerative diseases. Although soybean-derived peptides are known their bioactive properties, including antioxidant anti-apoptotic effects, impact on regulation skeletal remains underexplored. This study aims investigate the effects of low-molecular-weight soy peptide hydrolysate (SPH) related markers C2C12 myoblasts. SPH was prepared by enzymatic hydrolysis, its activities were analyzed through vitro assays (i.e., ABTS, DPPH). Cellular studies used evaluate ROS scavenging apoptosis. Results show that enhanced activity, reduced levels, promoted cell proliferation a dose-dependent manner. notably decreased under oxidative stress down-regulating p53, c-Caspase-3, Cyto-c, while promoting HO-1 expression, likely via AMPK activation. Importantly, had no significant inflammation-related proteins or MAPK These findings suggest may have therapeutic potential against intrinsic pathways, contributing maintenance.

Abstract With ongoing global climate change, water scarcity‐induced drought stress remains a major threat to agricultural productivity. Plants undergo series of physiological and morphological changes cope with stress, including stomatal closure reduce transpiration in root architecture optimize uptake. Combined phenotypic multi‐omics studies have recently identified number drought‐related genetic resources different crop species. The functional dissection these genes using molecular techniques has enriched our understanding responses crops provided targets for enhancing resistance drought. Here, we review recent advances the cloning analysis development technologies mitigate production.

Chronic diseases, including metabolic have become a worldwide public health issue. Research regarding the use of bioactive peptides or protein hydrolysates derived from food, as diet-based strategies for prevention and mitigation chronic has increased exponentially in past decades. Numerous vitro vivo studies report efficacy safety food-derived antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antioxidant agents. However, despite promising preclinical results, an inadequate understanding their mechanisms action pharmacokinetics restrict clinical translation. Commercialization can be further hindered due to scarce information efficacy, safety, bitter taste, well lack cost-effective method production. This review provides overview current evidence challenges commercial applications alleviation diseases.
