The skin is continuously exposed to environmental changes, rendering it vulnerable damage from external stressors that contribute premature aging. This study aims explore longevity pathways stimulated by a rose extract (RE) derived petals. Human keratinocytes treated with RE exhibited significant increase in NRF2 (NF-E2-related factor 2; ≈2–4% of induction) and LAMP2A (Lysosome-Associated Membrane Protein 2A; ≈6–12% levels. presence significantly mitigated the carbonylation levels (≈34–37% protection) number labeled P16INK4A cells (≈60–72% protection), associated proliferation arrest, both induced exposure BAP (Benzo[a]pyrene) coupled UV-A (Ultraviolet A) irradiation. beneficial effects mediated were inhibited Compound C, specific AMPK inhibitor (AMP-activated protein kinase). involvement pathway mediating has been confirmed assessing its activation through evaluation phosphorylation state which was elevated compared stress condition. In conclusion, enhances antioxidant defenses promotes autophagy. dual action, RE, helps protect oxidative senescence while maintaining proteostasis, integrity, cellular under pollution-induced (BAP + UV-A). These findings highlight potential mitigating age-related changes modulation pathways.

Resveratrol is a polyphenolic compound that has gained considerable attention in the past decade due to its multifaceted therapeutic potential, including anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties. However, efficacy impeded by low water solubility, dose-limiting toxicity, bioavailability, rapid hepatic metabolism. To overcome these hurdles, various nanoparticles such as organic inorganic nanoparticles, liposomes, polymeric dendrimers, solid lipid gold zinc oxide zeolitic imidazolate frameworks, carbon nanotubes, bioactive glass mesoporous were employed deliver resveratrol, enhancing against types of cancer. Resveratrol-loaded nanoparticle or resveratrol-conjugated administration exhibits excellent potency compared free resveratrol. This review highlights latest developments nanoparticle-based delivery systems for focusing on potential limitations associated with compound’s bioavailability effectiveness.

This study examines the chemical composition, antioxidant properties, and urease inhibitory effects of Hyoscyamus muticus L. subsp. falezlez (Coss.) Maire. Using LC-ESI-MS/MS, 19 distinct phenolic compounds were identified, with chlorogenic acid being most abundant. The ethanol extract demonstrated notable activity, highlighting its potential for therapeutic use. Urease inhibition assays revealed a remarkable 91.35% by H. extract, an IC50 value 5.6 ± 1.20 μg/mL, indicating promising role in addressing conditions linked to activity. Molecular docking studies further investigated interaction between urease, identifying hyperoside as leading candidate, binding energy −7.9 kcal/mol. Other compounds, such rutin, luteolin, apigenin, kaempferol, hesperetin, acid, rosmarinic also significant affinities, suggesting their disrupt function. These findings highlight source natural bioactive offering avenues development novel treatments urease-related disorders oxidative stress.

Abstract The herb Sophora flavescens displays anti‐inflammatory activity and can provide a source of antipsoriatic medications. We aimed to evaluate whether S. extracts compounds relieve psoriasiform inflammation. ability flavonoids (maackiain, sophoraflavanone G, leachianone A) alkaloids (matrine, oxymatrine) isolated from inhibit production cytokine/chemokines was examined in keratinocytes macrophages. Physicochemical properties skin absorption were determined by silico molecular modeling the vitro permeation test (IVPT) establish structure‐permeation relationship (SPR). ethyl acetate extract exhibited higher inhibition interleukin (IL)‐6, IL‐8, CXCL1 tumor necrosis factor‐α‐stimulated compared ethanol water extracts. demonstrated cytokine/chemokine than alkaloids, with prenylated flavanones (sophoraflavanone led highest suppression. Flavonoids exerted effects via extracellular signal‐regulated kinase, p38, activator protein‐1, nuclear factor‐κB signaling pathways. In IVPT, prenylation flavanone skeleton significantly promoted 0.01 0.22 nmol/mg G vs. eriodictyol). Further methoxylation (leachianone elevated 2.65 nmol/mg. High hydrostatic pressure (HHP) extraction advantages being easy efficient, while maintaining biological activity. In this study, sea flavonoid (SBF) was extracted with HHP purified (PSBF) isolated by AB-8 macroporous resin column. HPLC analysis used to quantified them. addition, effect anti-allergy in RBL-2H3 cells SBF, PSBF, their compounds evaluated. The results demonstrate conditions for obtaining maximum amount SBF: 415 MPa 10 min, 72% ethanol concentration, a liquid solid ratio 40 mL/g, which increased purity from 1.46% 13.26%. Both SBF PSBF included rutin, quercitrin, quercetin, isorhamnetin, kaempferol. kaempferol, could regulate Th1/Th2 cytokine balance. Moreover, extracellular Ca2+ influx reduced quercitrin PSBF. Furthermore, iso-rhamnetin, also inhibit P-p38 P-JNK expression, thereby suppressing phosphorylation MAPK signaling pathways. Overall, is effective relieving food allergy might be promising anti-allergic therapeutic agent.

Abstract Glucolipid metabolism disorder (GLMD) is a complex chronic disease characterized by glucose and lipid disorders with diverse etiology rapidly increasing incidence. Many studies have identified the role of flavonoids in ameliorating GLMD, mechanisms related to peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptors, nuclear factor kappa‐B, AMP‐activated protein kinase, (erythroid‐derived 2)‐like 2, transporter type 4, phosphatidylinositol‐3‐kinase/protein kinase B pathway. However, comprehensive summary flavonoid effects on GLMD lacking. This study reviewed roles natural different structures treatment reported globally past 5 years provides reference for developing as drugs treating GLMD.
