Enhancing COVID-19 Knowledge among Nursing Students: A Quantitative Study of a Digital Serious Game Intervention

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a digital serious game intervention about COVID-19 on pre-registration nursing student knowledge. included 282 students from university in Northern Ireland, with 210 providing comparable pre-test and post-test results. The 'serious game' debunk common myths provide accurate information virus. Participants completed 25-item questionnaire before after engaging game, which true/false items based World Health Organisation's list top myths. data were analysed using paired t-tests assess knowledge changes, scores calculated as percentages correct answers. A statistically significant improvement was demonstrated among first-year who engaged game.
