Finding and characterizing new bacterial strains, including probiotic is a crucial task in today’s world to expand the genetic data pool identify genes. In this study, we investigated gut microbiota of one industrial species, Cyprinus carpio, identified representatives various microbial genera, Citrobacter, Serratia, Bacillus, Enterococcus, Kocuria. Notably, discovered two strains Hafnia with potentially properties. We conducted next-generation sequencing (NGS) these described their antibiotic resistance antibacterial activity, compared them other genus. These characterized by rapid growth, presence ClpB heat shock protein gene, genes associated microplastic degradation, provide promising basis for further research, studies on potential application plastic biodegradation.

Probiotics are an essential dietary supplement for intestinal flora balance, inhibition of pathogenic bacteria and immune regulation. However, probiotic inactivation during gastrointestinal transportation remains a big challenge oral administration. Hence, delivery systems (ODSs) based on polysaccharides have been constructed to protect probiotics from harsh environments. Cellulose, chitosan, alginate their derivates used form protective layer probiotics. This review summarizes the superiority application in forming layers Meanwhile, ODS processes including extrusion, emulsion spray drying also summarized. The preparation technique mechanism, microparticle formation process especially role serve overviewed. Lastly, need cell viability retention dehydration construction core-shell microparticles is emphasized this review.

Fungal infections are a significant global health challenge, causing approximately 3.8 million deaths annually, with immunocompromised populations particularly at risk. Traditional antifungal therapies, including azoles, echinocandins, and polyenes, face limitations due to rising resistance, toxicity, inadequate treatment options. This review explores innovative strategies for preventing managing fungal infections, such as vaccines, peptides, nanotechnology, probiotics, immunotherapy. Vaccines offer promising avenues long-term protection, despite difficulties in their development complexity immune evasion mechanisms. Antifungal peptides provide novel class of agents broad-spectrum activity reduced resistance risk, whilst nanotechnology enables targeted, effective drug delivery systems. Probiotics show potential vulvovaginal candidiasis, by maintaining microbial balance. Immunotherapy leverages system modulation enhance defenses, omics technologies deliver comprehensive insights into biology, paving the way therapeutic vaccine targets. While these approaches hold immense promise, challenges cost, accessibility, translational barriers remain. A coordinated effort among researchers, clinicians, policymakers is critical advancing addressing burden effectively.
