Wild-simulated ginseng (WSG, Panax C.A. Meyer) is the most important medicinal plant naturally cultivated in forestry environment. The growth and active component content of WSG can be influenced by various environmental factors, such as climate conditions, physiognomy, soil properties, bacterial structure. aim this study was to investigate relationship between characteristics community living a rhizosphere Experimental subjects were 7- 13-year-old central region (Yeongju) Korea. WSG, divided into aerial parts, root weight measured. Rhizome length significantly higher for while number rootlets 7-year-old WSG. As result analyzing communities cultivation sites using next-generation sequencing (NGS), Proteobacteria Holophagae found dominant species phylum level class level, respectively. positively correlated with Bacteroidetes at but it negatively Thermoleophilia Gemmatimonadetes level. Pedospharae showed negative correlation leaflets petiole length, Clostridia positive rootlets. might vary depending on environment which cultivated. It especially affected properties communities. Therefore, future studies, will necessary isolate identify microorganisms then confirm their growth-promoting effects

This study evaluated the ameliorative effects of Korean-red-ginseng-derived polysaccharide (KRG-P) on antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD) induced by administering lincomycin in mice. Changes intestinal barrier proteins, microbiome and short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) contents were investigated. Lincomycin was orally administered for 9 days to induce diarrhea; subsequently, 100 mg/kg 300 KRG-P 12 days. The observed AAD group; further administration improved diarrhea. Analysis changes microbial flora mice revealed that harmful bacterial (such as Proteobacteria) increased group, whereas beneficial Firmicutes) decreased. However, resulted decreased Proteobacteria Firmicutes, supporting improvement imbalance caused AAD. Moreover, an analysis SCFAs (acetic acid, propionic butylic acid) caecum SCFAs’ group substantially reduced but tended increase upon administration. Based these results, KRG-P, which is primarily composed carbohydrates can improve lincomycin-induced diarrhea, likely owing recovery SCFA content improving proteins.

The rising prevalence of chronic metabolic disorders, such as obesity and type 2 diabetes, most notably associated with cardiovascular diseases, has emerged a major global health concern. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) play physiological functions by maintaining normal cellular redox signaling. By contrast, disturbed balance occurring between ROS production detoxification reactive intermediates results in excessive oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is critical mediator endothelial dysfunction diabetes. Under hyperglycemic condition, the antioxidant enzymes are downregulated, resulting an increased generation ROS. Increases lead to impairment endothelium-dependent vasodilatations reducing NO bioavailability. Chronic treatments antioxidants were reported prevent development diabetic patients animals; however, beneficial effects treatment combating vascular complications diabetes remain controversial do not always reverse clinical settings. In this review, we summarize latest progress research focused on role properties bioactive compounds from medicinal plants food animal experiments studies provide insights for therapeutic strategies.

This study mainly compared component activities total ginsenosides (TGS) ginseng extract (GE) on immunosuppressed mice induced by cyclophosphamide. Thirty-two were randomly divided into control, model, TGS, GE groups. orally administered for 28 days then injected with cyclophosphamide last four days. results analysis showed content 12 TGS (67.21%) was higher than (2.04%); 17 amino acids (1.41%) lower (5.36%); 10 monosaccharides similar (74.12%) (76.36%). animal that both protected hematopoietic function bone marrow inhibiting cell apoptosis, recovering normal cycle BM; maintained dynamic balance between Th1 Th2 cells; also spleen, thymus, liver. Meanwhile, intestinal bacteria increasing abundance lactobacillus decreasing odoribacter clostridia_UCG-014. prevention effect superior to some parameters. Abstract Background The ginseng endophyte Paenibacillus polymyxa Pp-7250 (Pp-7250) has multifaceted roles such as preventing diseases, promoting growth, increasing ginsenoside accumulation, and degrading pesticide residues, however, these effects still have room for improvements. Composite fungicides are an effective means to improve the biocontrol effect of fungicides, but in combination with its symbiotic bacteria on needs be further investigated, mechanism action not been elucidated. In this study, a series experiments was conducted elucidate Bacillus cereus co-bacterial agent yield quality understory ginseng, investigate their action. Results results indicated that P. B.
