Phytochemicals represent a large and diverse group of naturally occurring compounds, bioactive nutrients, or phytonutrients produced by plants, widely found in fruits, vegetables, whole grains products, legumes, beans, herbs, seeds, nuts, tea, dark chocolate. They are classified according to their chemical structures functional properties. Flavonoids belong the phenolic class phytochemicals with potential solid pharmacological effects as modulators multiple signal transduction pathways. Their beneficial effect on human body is associated antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimutagenic, anticarcinogenic also used various nutritional, pharmaceutical, medical, cosmetic applications. In our review, we discuss positive flavonoids chronic skin diseases such vitiligo, psoriasis, acne, atopic dermatitis.

The biochemical characteristics of polyphenols contribute to their numerous advantageous impacts on human health. existing research suggests that plant phenolics, whether consumed orally or applied directly the skin, can be beneficial in alleviating symptoms and avoiding development many skin disorders. Phenolic compounds, which are both harmless naturally present, exhibit significant potential terms counteracting effects damage, aging, diseases, wounds, burns. Moreover, play a preventive role possess ability delay progression several disorders, ranging from small discomforting severe potentially life-threatening ones. This article provides concise overview recent therapeutic application for conditions. It specifically highlights studies have investigated clinical trials use polyphenol-based nanoformulations treatment different ailments.

The goal of this investigation is to improve the topical delivery medicine by preparing and maximizing potential a nanotransferosome gel infused with Solanum xanthocarpum methanolic extract (SXE) provide localized regulated distribution. Thin-film hydration was used create SXE-infused nanotransferosomes (SXE-NTFs), Box–Behnken design them. Phospholipon 90G (X1), cholesterol (X2) sodium cholate (X3) were chosen as independent variables, their effects on vesicle size (Y1), polydispersity index (PDI) (Y2) percentage entrapment efficiency (EE) (Y3) observed both individually in combination. For SXE-NTFs, 146.3 nm, PDI 0.2594, EE 82.24 ± 2.64%, drug-loading capacity 8.367 0.07% drug release rate 78.86 5.24%. Comparing antioxidant activity conventional ascorbic acid, it determined be 83.51 3.27%. Ex vivo permeation tests revealed that SXE-NTF (82.86 2.38%) considerably outperformed SXE (35.28 1.62%) terms permeation. In addition, seemed from confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) picture Wistar rat’s skin rhodamine-B-loaded had higher penetration capability than control. Dermatokinetic studies showed better retention gel. According experimental results, promising successful formulation.

Background: The traditional Matricaria chamomilla L. has been used to treat dermatitis for thousands of years. Due emerging trends in alternative medicine, patients prefer natural remedies relieve their symptoms. Therefore, finding safe and effective plant medicines topical applications on the skin is an important treatment strategy dermatologists. German chamomile ( L.) from Compositae family a famous medicinal plant, often known as "star species."However, function essential oil inflammation not thoroughly examined earlier research. Methods: GC-MS analyzed components MCEO, this study explored anti-inflammation effects MCEO psoriasis with network pharmacological pathway prediction. Following this, we clinical samples confirm secretory characteristic relative inflammatory markers. therapeutic effect was detected by examination human keratinocytes HaCaT. At same time, prepared imiquimod-induced psoriatic-like mice investigate potential inhibition functions psoriatic injury inflammation. Results: significantly reduced interleukin-22/tumor necrosis factor α/lipopolysaccharide-stimulated elevation HaCaT cell inflammation, which correlated downregulating PI3K/Akt/mTOR p38MAPK pathways activation mediated cells treated IL-22/TNF-α/LPS. Skin evaluated based PASI score, HE staining, cytokine levels. results showed that could contribute disease treatment. Conclusion: inhibited induced IL-22/TNF-α/LPS, mechanisms associated inhibiting excessive crosstalk between pathways. ameliorated IMQ-induced levels cytokines but IL-17A. Thus, anti-inflammatory drugs different targets combined were psoriasis. Keywords: , oil, psoriasis, HaCaT, IMQ, mouse

ABSTRACT Psoriasis is a noncontagious, autoimmune chronic inflammatory disease with an unknown root cause. It classified as multifactorial and skin disorder that also affects the immune system genetic. Environmental factors such stress, infections, injuries all play important role in disease's development. Although there no cure for this disease, topical, oral, systemic whole‐body treatments are available to relieve symptoms. Several plants phytochemicals which have been found effective management of psoriasis experimentally (preclinical clinical). These plants/phytochemicals applications treatments. Traditionally, some utilized primary treatment, including their extracts and/or phytochemicals, individuals moderate severe (due fewer side effects), while phototherapy generally reserved more advanced cases. This report describes various be against vitro, preclinical, clinical studies. review summarizes key findings from experimental studies on pathological aspects may useful, effective, informative future research.

Abstract In a global report on psoriasis, World Health Organization stated that, significant portion of the population suffers from chronic, non‐contagious autoimmune, inflammatory skin disorder mediated by T cells with unpredictable relapse. Overall, there is ample evidence to suggest that treatment psoriasis synthetic agents associated systemic long term side effects. The present study aims at use novel nanosized carriers for plant bio‐actives significantly enhance pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties actives avoid side‐effects agents. study, we have created Quercetin Ferulic acid loaded micro‐emulsion formulations using, oleic acid, Polysorbate 80 propylene glycol as oil, surfactant, co‐surfactant, respectively. To make topical easier, various batches microemulsions surfactant: cosurfactant compositions ranging 31%w/w 34%w/w were prepared embedded in hydrogel system containing gelling like sodium alginate carbapol 940. Numerous parameters, including viscosity, spreadability, globule size, zeta potential, polydispersibility index, refractive percent transmittance, conductivity test, etc., assessed these developed micro‐emulgels (microemulsion hydrogels). found pharmaceutically satisfactory known possess good antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, most commonly pathogen which can be possible agent exaggerate psoriatic symptoms.
