Abstract Liver diseases, encompassing conditions such as cirrhosis, present a substantial global health challenge with diverse etiologies, including viral infections, alcohol consumption, and non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Abstract It is suggested that supplementation with silymarin (SIL) has beneficial impacts on kidney and liver functions. This systematic review dose–response meta‐analysis assessed the impact of SIL administration certain hepatic, renal, oxidative stress markers. A search was conducted in various databases to identify relevant trials published until January 2023. Randomized controlled (RCTs) evaluated effects markers were included. random‐effects model used for analysis 41 RCTs The pooled results indicated led a significant reduction serum levels alkaline phosphatase, alanine transaminase, creatinine, aspartate aminotransferase, along substantial elevation glutathione SIL‐treated group compared their untreated counterparts.
