Propolis is a complex sticky substance produced by the honey bees (Apis mellifera) from resinous materials they collect various parts of plant and used to defend their hives pathogenic microorganisms. This research aimed compare antioxidant properties propolis extracts using different solvents extraction methods. Abstract This study presents the first findings regarding extraction, isolation, enzyme inhibition, and antioxidant activity. The oral mucosal wound‐healing process was investigated using propolis water extract (PWE) incubation with gingival fibroblast cells concluded that effective on pattern compared to untreated controls. Background/Objectives: A common reason for a pediatrician’s visit is acute tonsillopharyngitis (ATR), which usually caused by viruses. dietary supplement comprising Pelargonium sidoides extract, honey, propolis, and zinc was proposed as an effective adjuvant the management of respiratory tract infections. The study aimed to determine efficacy this in conjunction with standard care (SoC) compared SoC alone, pediatric population affected ATR. Despite their significant impact on quality of life, these symptoms are often inadequately addressed. Objective: Recently, interest in beehive air inhalation therapy, also known as Apiair, has increased significantly. Despite this, clinical studies examining its effects remain limited. Propolis, a key component found hive air, been identified playing an important role potential therapeutic benefits. This study aims to evaluate the safety and physiological of propolis-water extract healthy individuals. Materials Methods: A total 20 participants were randomly assigned one two groups double-blind trial. The first group inhaled saline solution, while second received extract. Participants underwent pulmonary function testing, venous blood gas analysis, electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring before after inhalation. Results: All parameters, including function, gas, ECG measurements, remained within clinically normal limits both groups. No adverse events reported during period. Conclusion: Propolis-water was be safe individuals, with no significant deviations measures. These findings support propolis provide foundation for further research into respiratory health, contributing broader understanding Apiair applications.

Propolis, or bee glue, is a complex mixture of resins from plant buds and flowers, wax, pollen saliva. It also contains various vitamins, essential oils, mineral salts, trace elements, hormones enzymes. has been found that propolis possesses antimicrobial, antiviral anti-inflammatory properties. We have studied the activity six extracts Bulgarian collected districts Bulgaria. The study was conducted against structurally different viruses: Human coronavirus strain OC-43 (HCoV OC-43) respiratory syncytial virus type 5 (HRSV-5) (enveloped RNA viruses), herpes simplex 1 (HSV-1) DNA virus), rhinovirus 14 (HRV-14) (non-enveloped virus) adenovirus 2 (HadV-2) virus). influence on internal replicative cycle viruses determined using cytopathic effect (CPE) inhibition test. virucidal capacity, their adsorption stage protective uninfected cells were by end-point dilution method.
