Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are indicators of soil health and associated with various benefits, primarily linked to glomalin accumulation from hyphal turnover. However, the direct connection between glomalin-related protein (GRSP) AMF has been questioned. The study aimed investigate correlation different fractions GRSP fatty acid in soil, as well impact conservation agriculture practices on biomass content. Findings revealed a positive easily extractable (EE) phospholipid (PLFA) 16:1ω5, while no significant correlations were found for difficultly (DE) or total fractions. These results highlight complexity dynamics need further research their relation biomass. Additionally, demonstrated that mechanical management had greater EE-GRSP compared residue management. Direct seeding, reduced tillage approach, led higher EE-GRSP, indicating sensitivity intensity. This suggests exert stronger influence abundance content than

Accurate assessment of soil quality is crucial for sustainable agriculture and conservation. Thus, this study aimed to assess in the agricultural ecosystem Mnasra region within Gharb Plain Morocco, employing a comprehensive approach integrating multivariate analysis geostatistical techniques. Thirty samples were collected from surface layers across thirty selected sites. The results showed significant variations properties area, influenced by factors such as texture, parent material, practices. Pearson correlation principal component (PCA) employed analyze relationships among compute Soil Quality Index (SQI). SQI revealed values ranging 0.48 0.74, with 46.66% sampled soils classified “Good” 53.33% “Fair”. Geostatistical analysis, particularly ordinary kriging (OK) interpolation semivariogram modeling, highlighted spatial variability properties, aiding mapping landscape. integrated demonstrates importance combining field assessments, statistical analyses, geospatial techniques evaluation informed land management decisions. These findings offer valuable insights decision-makers monitoring managing promote development Morocco.

Abstract Soil is a depletable and non-renewable resource essential for food production, crop growth, supporting ecosystem services, such as the retaining cycling of various elements, including water. Therefore characterization preservation soil biological health key point development sustainable agriculture. We conducted comprehensive review use Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to develop forecasting models based on microbiota data able monitor predict health. also investigated potentiality AI-based Decision Support Systems (DSSs) improving microorganisms enhance fertility. While available studies are limited, potential applications AI seem relevant predictive fertility, its properties activities, implement precision agriculture, safeguarding ecosystems, bolstering resilience, ensuring production high-quality food.

Abstract Sustainable agricultural soil management practices are key to restore, maintain and improve health. The European Joint Programme for SOIL (EJP SOIL) has identified twelve main challenges in Europe. To assess the potential eventually increase adoption of soil‐improving practices, it is necessary know (i) current levels (ii) socio‐technical barriers influencing their adoption, (iii) bio‐physical limits. This study compiled an inventory relevant conditions, used a survey among scientists these In total, 53 were that address one or several challenges. most was low spatially heterogeneous across Europe, highlighting region‐specific limitations sustainable management. Qualitative interviews conducted explore importance aspects adoption. Using conservation agriculture as example, factors can hinder included availability knowledge adequate machinery, financial risks, farming traditions. Through modelling approach, 54% arable land Europe found be suitable cover cropping, indicating frequently limited by climatic constraints. We propose approach recognizes identifying overcoming barriers, acknowledging limits may expanded innovation.
