Technology promises to shape new education systems with modern features that accommodate the shortcomings of traditional systems. This study aims answer these questions: Are Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Yemen, Taiz state, prepared accept technology-based (TBE) and what are main challenges for that? 5-point Likert scale questionnaires targeted 221 female engineering students 87 faculty members from public private universities while survey data were statistically analyzed using SPSS software 23. The examined many related variables such as skills use availability technology devices, having personal laptops or smartphones, social beliefs, students' self-motivation, institutions' vision infrastructures. results display exhibit better involvement TBE than members, low income barriers represent a solid obstruction employment online blended technologies Yemen. also indicate about 30% participant Yemen did not have laptops. Besides, HEIs' infrastructure, smart classrooms, electricity, Internet, administrative structure, scientific research incentives suggest incompatible TBE. Finally, this addressed impact cost-free media platforms enhancing students’ academic attainments. implications government, HEIs, recorded. Work–family conflict (WFC) is a worldwide and timeless dilemma that negatively significantly impacts the performance of employees, families, organizations. It intensifies when career engineering, employee female, job environment requires heavy-duty field tasks. The present study investigates WFC in an engineering for female engineers studies many women-related issues Yemen. Three questionnaires targeted 130 engineer graduates, 60 senior engineers, 20 engineers’ husbands. results indicated marriage strongly correlated to educational performance, opportunities, continuity. suggests that, conservative societies, disruptions from family-to-work are more pronounced compared work-to-family. Several external factors, including low stipends, economic downturns, political crises, have negative impact on opportunities spillover. A significant finding revealed average wage Yemen USD 145, which 3.822 times lower than their male counterparts. survey only single but not married currently employed industrial construction sector. Most graduates working jobs unrelated engineering. Employed females face balancing professional responsibilities, household tasks, social commitments. Society needs implement policies alleviate pressure women’s work promote support dual-earning couples enhance family income. recommends organizations offer flexible schedules, allow remote options, create healthy address work–family imbalance, particularly male-dominated environments.

Serious concerns have been raised over the consistent academic underperformance of Yemeni students at almost all levels university studies. This paper investigates impact various socioeconomic factors on performance engineering in Taiz State, Yemen, an impoverished and unstable society. Our quantitative methodology employed a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire targeted 596 female/male from three colleges State. Data were analyzed using SPSS software simple multiple regression models to examine variables achievement while moderating financial condition gender. study measured through GPAs, student attendance, English level. Many influences examined against performance, such as gender, family income, stability, openness, marital status, co-education, part-time jobs, stimulant use. The results accurately specified that students’ gender considerably impacts studied variables; moreover, low-income features families negatively affect performance. outcome this indicated matched well with GPA, attendance rate, level, but higher matching rate. highlights societies, like are significantly affected by factors. It recommends coordinated efforts among government authorities, educational institutions, community leaders mitigate negative implement appropriate technologies enhance Additionally, conducting similar studies other disciplines communities within country is recommended for deeper understanding issue.

The rising number of unemployed engineers in Kuwait is a concerning trend, largely stemming from mismatch between the skills worked on university and expectations employers. present research seeks to address this issue by examining skill demands within electrical engineering sector Kuwait’s job market. Through comprehensive analysis over 128 listings gathered for 6 months 2023 various online platforms, study aims pinpoint key competencies sought employers enhance engineers’ employability.
