It examines effects experiences on presence interaction influence presence. Additionally, how these factors impact user immersion satisfaction is explored, relationship between analyzed. Specifically, this investigates virtual similar to those in physical galleries, provide sense reality, leading artwork ultimately resulting satisfaction. The findings reveal that, among experience factors, entertainment, escapism, aesthetic positively (+) affected interaction, while educational negatively (−) influenced it. Furthermore, presence, whereas did not significantly Interaction both Presence but affect Finally, suggests that strategies enhance are crucial designing experiences. Virtual co-embodiment enables two users to share a single avatar in Reality (VR). During such experiences, the illusion of shared motion control can break during joint-action activities, highlighting need for position-aware feedback mechanisms. Drawing on perceptual crossing paradigm, we explore how haptics enable non-verbal coordination between co-embodied participants. In within-subjects study (20 participant pairs), examined effects vibrotactile haptic (None, Present) and distribution (25-75%, 50-50%, 75-25%) across VR reaching tasks (Targeted, Free-choice) participants' Sense Agency (SoA), co-presence, body ownership, synchrony. We found (a) lower SoA free-choice with than without, (b) higher targeted task, (c) co-presence ownership were significantly (d) players' hand motions synchronized more task. provide cautionary considerations when including mechanisms experiences.

Immersive virtual reality (iVR) employs head-mounted displays or cave-like environments to create a sensory-rich experience that simulates the physical presence of user in digital space. The technology holds immense promise neuroscience research and therapy. In particular, (VR) technologies facilitate development diverse tasks scenarios closely mirroring real-life situations stimulate brain within controlled secure setting. It also offers cost-effective solution providing similar sense interaction users when conventional stimulation methods are limited unfeasible. Although combining iVR with traditional imaging techniques may be difficult due signal interference instrumental issues, recent work has proposed use functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) conjunction for versatile paradigms flexible examination responses. We present comprehensive review current studies employing an iVR-fNIRS setup, covering device types, approaches, data analysis methods, major scientific findings. literature demonstrates high potential explore various types cognitive, behavioral, motor functions fully immersive VR environment. This study focuses on the innovative application of HCI and XR technologies in behavioral skills training (BST) digital age, exploring their potential education, especially experimental training. Despite opportunities these offer for immersive BST, traditional methods remain mainstream, with devices like HMDs causing user discomfort current research lacking evaluating experience. To address issues, we propose spatial reality display (SRD) method, a new BST approach based display. method uses autostereoscopic technology to avoid HMD discomfort, employs intuitive gesture interactions reduce learning costs, integrates content into serious games (SGs) enhance acceptance. Using aluminothermic reaction chemistry experiments as an example, developed Unity3D-based allowing users conduct 3D virtual environment. Our compared SRD through simulation, questionnaires, interviews, revealing significant advantages enhancing intrinsic motivation.
