Hungary is a member of the European Union (E.U.), so more than three-quarters its trade relations are with E.U. Hungary’s strategic objective to be among top-ten states in digitalization by 2030. This study aims examine country’s digitization development and planned programs and, based on these, predict expected status. also attempts answer whether ten most digitally developed states. In a European context in which the objectives of climate neutrality and digitalization appear fundamental, work analyzes relationships between price main stock market indices most representative variables such as carbon emissions, digitalization, use renewable energy, research development expenses, environmental taxes, all economic management activities aimed at reducing or eliminating any form pollution. The analysis was developed through three different regressions involving long period 1995–2020 short 2017–2020. results show how increasing emissions taxes positively impact indices. former is linked to an increase production and, therefore, growth, latter encourages sustainability. This article explores the intricate relationship between digital transformation and non-financial performance in Central Eastern European (CEE) countries. In the context of development information technologies, concerns about assessing effects digital transformation have increased. Although it is intuitively accepted that has a favourable impact on macroeconomic variables (based interdependencies between micro- and performance), there little scientific research providing evidence this.
