This scoping review presents an overview of existing research about children's representation in child protection decision-making and identifies the knowledge gaps. This practice note discusses graduate students' reflections on experiences with using solution-focused approaches children in Child Protective Services, specifically scaling and miracle questions. Miracle questions are considered child-centered because they non-judgmental creative, explore children's needs, wishes, hopes from the child's point of view, facilitate listening to voices. Scaling were found be supportive, encouraging, non-threatening; easy understand by resource-, future- outcome-oriented.
