ABSTRAK Pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai kelainan gusi dan gigi sangat penting sebagai landasan menjaga oral hygiene. Pandemic COVID-19 memiliki pengaruh terhadap kesehatan individu termasuk gusi. Oral hygiene yang baik selain meningkatkan mulut juga secara umum. Kegiatan ini bertujuan pengetahuan gigi, cara mulut, serta tips aman ke dokter di masa pandemi COVID-19. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, peragaan, pemutaran video. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukan peserta penyuluhan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 32% setelah penyuluhan. Hal berjalan baik. Terdapat menerima materi diberikan. Background The Government of Indonesia and UNICEF introduced the Aksi Bergizi Social Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) intervention to promote healthy eating hygiene behaviors among adolescents. However, no systematic assessment program’s effect has been made. This study aims assess association between exposure nutrition promotion program hand, oral, nail secondary school students in Padang, Indonesia. Methods We conducted a school-based cross-sectional Padang Municipality, Indonesia, collecting data from 253 attending target schools non-target using self-administered questionnaire. compared two groups descriptive statistics multivariable logistic regression with adjustment for demographic socioeconomic characteristics. Results All reported brushing their teeth at least twice per day, so there was observable difference regarding oral hygiene. we found that were significantly more likely than those always use soap when washing hands both before (75% vs. 21%; Adjusted odds ratio (OR) = 6.03; 95% confidence interval (CI) [3.96–9.19]) after toilet (74% OR 5.74, CI [3.78–8.72]). statistically significant regard hygiene, i.e ., cutting nails once week. The study aimed to investigate the association of varying body mass index (BMI) with oral health status among children aged 5−14 years and correlate concentration salivary levels 1,5-AG BMI, dental caries, periodontal disease. Salivary 1,5-anhydroglucitol (1,5-AG) analyzed using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for all subjects. Statistical analyses performed SPSS v. 27 (IBM Statistics, Chicago, IL, USA) Kruskal−Wallis chi-square tests used comparisons. Spearman rank correlation coefficient examine between subjects’ independent variables, caries activity. mean def score, PI, mSBI scores higher in obese children. Ozone has been used as an antibacterial agent for various purposes in healthcare. The use of ozone dental practice is also well-established. This systematic review aims analyze the literature on effects ozonated water managing gingival inflammation and bleeding across diverse populations. A search adhering Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines was conducted PubMed, MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane. Studies published between January 2012 December 2023 employing treatment gingivitis or were included. Five studies met inclusion criteria, demonstrating varied efficacy water. While some showed promising results reducing inflammation, others indicated limitations compared chlorhexidine. Regular dental visits are important for the maintenance of optimal oral health and improved quality life. The purpose study was to evaluate patterns factors associated with routine attendance among female schoolchildren in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.This cross-sectional performed on 449 primary (6-11 years old) Arabia. included clinical examination decay first permanent molars children questionnaire administration their parents. In bivariate analysis, education parents, family income, daily tooth brushing, molar, toothache, consumption soft drinks, biscuits, cakes, cream significantly (P <0.05). However, final logistic regression model showed that university mothers (OR 2.52, P = 0.005), not having toothache or discomfort 2.88, 0.001), brushing once twice 2.43, P= 0.034), consuming drinks 1.96, 0.027) significant predictors visits.The found higher mothers, pain, this sample schoolchildren.
