Metabolic
dysfunction-associated
steatotic
liver
disease
(MASLD)
and
alcohol-related
(ALD)
together
represent
the
majority
of
individuals
with
(SLD).
MASLD
ALD
prevalence
continues
to
rise
globally,
which
is
driven
by
several
factors
including
an
aging
population,
increasing
cardiometabolic
risk
such
as
obesity
diabetes
mellitus,
trends
in
high-risk
unhealthy
alcohol
use
surged
during
COVID-19
pandemic.

result,
MASLD,

ALD-related
cirrhosis
hepatocellular
carcinoma,
