Abstract As new 2D layered nanomaterials, Bi 2 O Se nanoplates have unique semiconducting properties that can benefit biomedical applications. Herein, a facile top‐down approach for the synthesis of quantum dots (QDs) in solution is described. The QDs with size 3.8 nm and thickness 1.9 exhibit high photothermal conversion coefficient 35.7% good stability. In vitro vivo assessments demonstrate possess excellent photoacoustic (PA) performance therapy (PTT) efficiency. After systemic administration, accumulate passively tumors enabling efficient PA imaging entire to facilitate imaging‐guided PTT without obvious toxicity. Furthermore, which degradability aqueous media not only sufficient stability during circulation perform designed therapeutic functions, but also be discharged harmlessly from body afterward. results reveal great potential as biodegradable multifunctional agent medical

Specific cytotoxicity for catalytic nanomedicine triggered by the tumor microenvironment (TME) has attracted increasing interest. In this work, we prepared AgBiS2 hollow nanospheres with narrow bandgaps via rapid precipitation in a weakly polar solvent, which lowered intrinsic energy gap active production of highly reactive hydroxyl radicals (•OH), especially TME. The as-prepared exhibited enhanced optical absorption and high photothermal conversion efficiency (44.2%). addition, structured were found to have peroxidase-mimicking feature induce cancer cell-specific while exhibiting negligible toward normal cells, might be attributed efficient •OH originating from overexpression H2O2 TME caused surface catalysis. particular, was greatly both vitro vivo upon irradiation near-infrared (NIR) laser (808 nm). above-mentioned features will make it promising candidate therapy.

It is highly attractive to design and develop earth-abundant electrocatalysts toward high-efficiency water oxidation electrocatalysis in alkaline media. In this communication, we report the situ hydrothermal sulfidization preparation of a hierarchical CuCo2S4 nanoarray on copper foam (CuCo2S4/CF) from its CuCo2-hydroxide nanowire array precursor. When used as 3D catalyst electrode for oxidation, as-prepared CuCo2S4/CF superior catalytic activity, demanding overpotentials only 259 295 mV achieve 60 100 mA cm-2 1.0 M KOH, respectively. Moreover, it also shows strong electrochemical durability with high turnover frequency values 0.069 0.390 mol O2 s-1 at 300 400 mV,

Bone cancer including primary bone and metastatic cancer, remains a challenge claiming millions of lives affecting the life quality survivors. Conventional treatments include wide surgical resection, radiotherapy, chemotherapy. However, some cells may remain or recur in local area after are highly resistant to chemotherapy, insensitive radiotherapy. Phototherapy (PT) photodynamic therapy (PDT) photothermal (PTT), is clinically approved, minimally invasive, selective treatment, has been widely reported for therapy. Under irradiation light specific wavelength, photosensitizer (PS) PDT can cause increase intracellular ROS agent (PTA) PTT induce conversion, leading tumoricidal effects. In this review, progress PT applications treatment outlined summarized, envisioned challenges future perspectives have mentioned. This review provides current state art regarding inspiration studies on PT.
