This work delves into the exploration of tunable colloidosomes and their formation mechanism. By utilizing amphiphilic SiO2 nanoparticles (SiO2 NPs) as stabilizers, a serious size-controllable from 2 μm to 11 have been prepared through adjusting sizes NPs, ratio mass NPs water, length modified alkyl groups, polarity organic solvent. The size colloidosome proportionally reduces total surface tension emulsion decrease. Besides, microreactor has employed encapsulate glucose oxidase reaction model, investigating effect on transmembrane process small molecules. Additionally, hybrid synthesized by mixing 7 nm 22 co-stabilizers. A continuous evolution is not observed colloidosomes, which attributed spatial arrangement surfactant.

Abstract Traditional tertiary oil recovery methods are fraught with challenges such as significant reagent adsorption, voluminous injection requirements, limited sweep efficiency, and inadequate intelligent targeting. These issues lead to suboptimal displacement of residual oil, resulting in the inability mobilize substantial crude resources thus yielding low rates. Microcapsules—spherical particles micron or nanometer scale diameters—have been extensively utilized across various sectors, including food storage, targeted drug encapsulation, fragrance containment, owing their distinct advantages controlled release, isolation, delivery. applications have successfully achieved industrialization commercialization. In recent years, numerous researchers explored application microcapsule preparation processes diverse facets extraction, aim further enhancing (EOR). This article elucidates mechanism action microcapsules, (encompassing situ polymerization, interfacial spray drying, solvent evaporation, phase separation, supercritical CO 2 ‐assisted techniques), characterization evaluation methodologies, among other aspects. It encapsulates current status principal associated oilfield development probes potential pivotal research directions for applications.
