Abstract Textiles with thermal/moisture managing functions are of high interest. However, making the textile sensitive to surrounding environment is still challenging. Herein, a multimodal smart fabric developed by stitching together Ag coated thermal‐humidity thermoplastic polyurethane (Ag‐THSPU) and hybrid polyvinylidene fluoride (PU‐PVDF). The porous PU‐PVDF layer used for solar reflection, infrared emissivity, water resistance. Ag‐THSPU designed regulating thermal sweat evaporation as well convection. In cold dry state, domains densely packed covering crystalline matrix, featuring low transmission (102.74 g m −2 ·24 h −1 ), reflection 2.4 °C warmer than cotton fabric. hot humid THSPU swollen expands in area, resulting formation micro‐hook faces where spread apart promote (2084.88 g/m radiation convection, offering 2.5 cooler strategy reported here opens new door development adaptive textiles demanding situations.

Bio-based polyurethane (BPU) offers excellent biocompatibility and outstanding elasticity, providing vast potential for the development of next-generation waterproof breathable materials. However, achieving stable uniform electrospinning BPU remains a significant challenge. Herein, with superior performance was synthesized using poly(butylene sebacate), poly(trimethylene ether glycol), ethylene glycol, methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) as raw nanofibrous membranes were successfully fabricated solutions varying concentrations (12 wt%, 16 20 24 wt%), their morphology, mechanical properties, hydrophobicity, breathability systematically analyzed. The membrane prepared wt% solution exhibited optimal fiber morphology tensile strength 15.6 MPa an elongation at break 440.8%. In contrast, lower wt%) resulted in insufficient formation, leading to poorer performance, while higher (24 significantly reduced uniformity, negatively impacting overall performance. Additionally, produced from demonstrated hydrophobicity breathability, water contact angle 133.2°, hydrostatic pressure 48.2 kPa, 12.6 kg·m2·d-1. These findings suggest that via hold great application functional textiles.
