Abstract Controlling the packing feature and film morphology of active layers is precondition for achieving highly efficient organic solar cells (OSCs). The growth transition donors acceptors from solution to solid films plays an intrinsic role in shaping these features. In this study, two simple additives, cyanobenzene (CNB) 1,4‐dicyanobenzene (DCNB), are presented modulate process investigate impact behaviors on molecule quality, morphology, device performances. The global interest in environmental issues and sustainable energy has propelled extensive research photovoltaic (PV) technologies.
