Two categories of supramolecular polymer monomers were produced by introducing the ureidopyrimidone quadruple-hydrogen bonding assemblies on calix[4]arene and β-cyclodextrin host units. The adsorption capacity these polymers for different metal ions was investigated static adsorption. results showed that at pH = 6 when equilibrium reached, with calixarene as main body adsorbed up to 99% Pb

Abstract Lithium‐metal batteries (LMBs) are considered one of the most promising next‐generation high‐energy‐density battery systems. However, leakage problem and fire hazard commercial liquid electrolytes hinder their practical applications. Herein, a flame‐retardant solid polymer electrolyte (FRSPE) is fabricated by in situ polymerization methyl methacrylate (MMA), allyl diglycol carbonate (ADC), monomer, i.e., diethyl vinyl phosphonate (DEVP), which phosphorus chemically bonded to matrix avoid parasitic reaction between molecules with lithium (Li) anode. Compared previously reported (SPEs) possessing free phosphorus, significantly increased efficiency improved electrochemical performance can be achieved. With wide window (≈4.4V), high ionic conductivity (1.8 × 10 −4 S cm −1 ), superior compatibility Li anode, assembled Li/FRSPE/LiFePO 4 (LFP) cell exhibits stable cycling over temperature range (capacity retention 70.9%@1000 cycles 69.1%@200 at 25 80 °C, respectively). Furthermore, high‐voltage full cells, e.g., Li/LiCoO 2 (LCO) Li/LiNi 0.8 Co 0.1 Mn O (NCM811), FRSPE also deliver excellent performance. The current design principle framework provide new pathway for developing practical, safe, LMBs.

Abstract Sustainable underwater adhesives have drawn much interest in promising applications and environmental engineering. However, developing a convenient strategy to combine recyclability adhesion into adhesive materials remains formidable challenge. In this work, degradable closed‐loop recyclable tackifier is designed by nucleotide, via the ring‐opening polymerization of thioctic acid presence 5′‐adenosine monophosphate methacrylatoethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride. The nucleotide‐tackified present an excellent for various materials, tissues, on‐demand detachment behavior. demonstrate reusability, degradability, dual monomers monophosphate. Interestingly, waste residues processability can be employed again construction tough interfaces both air underwater, with further expanding sustainability. It envisioned that sustainable would offer insights advancing materials.
