Malignant tumors, also known as cancers, are a global public health problem. Nanogels promising carriers for the delivery of anticancer medicines. Therefore, based on unique microenvironment tumor cells and advantages nanogels, simple economical one-pot synthesis method was designed to construct natural polysaccharide-based redox-responsive nanogels (LDD NGs). The enhanced permeability retention (EPR) effect enriched LDD NGs in cells, which then rapidly collapsed released antitumor drug diosgenin (DG) polysaccharide lentinan (LNT) via depletion high level reduced glutathione (GSH) resulting synergistic therapeutic chemotherapy immunotherapy. In vivo experiments showed that could inhibit proliferation metastasis A549 lung cancer cells. Further studies indicated increase production ROS induce apoptosis addition, LNT from promote dendritic NO, upregulate expressions costimulatory molecules CD40, CD80, CD86, MHC-II. construction novel approach provide fresh ideas development systems.
