ABSTRACT The use of metal and inorganic particles to enhance the electro‐optical properties liquid crystal displays is well established. However, application polymer for this purpose remains relatively underexplored. To improve twisted nematic (TNLC) devices, we synthesized acquired nanosized polydopamine (PDA), cellulose, cyclodextrin particles. their interaction with crystals, these polymeric were modified dimethyloctadecyl‐3‐(trimethoxysilyl)propyl ammonium chloride (DMOAP), resulting in radial constructions. A β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD) inclusion complex 4‐cyano‐4′‐pentylbiphenyl was also further study. TNLC cells doped PDA presented a contrast ratio 39.3, low threshold voltage 4.5 V, fast average response time 18 ms. Furthermore, β‐CD highest 49.4, an even lower 4.4 fastest 6.8 ms, indicating superior performance. This approach offers novel method developing high‐performance, low‐cost, easily processed display devices.
