Chlorine‐coordinated iron phthalocyanine is designed and synthesized for 4 e − pathway oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). Iron (FePc) a promising nonprecious catalyst the ORR. Unfortunately, FePc with plane‐symmetric Fe‐N4 site usually exhibits an unsatisfactory ORR activity due to its poor O 2 adsorption activation. In this work, (Cl‐FePc) has been studied as electrochemical Coordination of chlorine introduces additional active sites ORR, improving catalytic activity. The atoms enhance electron transfer process facilitate validated by in situ Raman spectroscopy. obtained fast kinetics activation ultralow Tafel slope 30 mV dec −1 remarkable half‐wave potential 0.80 V.
