Photothermal therapy (PTT) utilizes photothermal materials to convert light energy into heat under external irradiation, effectively killing cancer cells. Therefore, the efficacy of PTT is largely determined by conversion efficiency material. In this study, we developed a novel ladder-type conjugated polymer, PPAPA, via phenazine ring fusion reaction. PPAPA exhibits high 75.2 % 1064 nm laser comparable benchmark organic agent SWCNT. Notably, synthesis avoids use noble metal catalysts, eliminating potential biotoxicity caused residual catalysts and ensuring optimal stability efficiency. Furthermore, demonstrates efficient near-infrared II (NIR-II) enabling deeper tissue penetration reduced absorption. This work comprehensively investigates properties evaluates its in tumor PTT, demonstrating as effective therapeutic strategy for treatment, offering new hope patients.
