The tumor microenvironment (TME) is a complex and dynamic ecosystem that plays critical role in cancer progression. It comprises various cell types, including immune cells, stromal cells. Among these, cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) represent heterogeneous population with diverse origins, phenotypes, functions.
