Abstract Materials capable of simultaneously achieving both mechanoluminescence (ML) and luminescent mechanochromism (L‐MC) hold great promise in smart stimuli‐responsive applications. However, single‐phase single‐doped inorganic ML materials with pronounced L‐MC behavior are exceptionally rare because their single center. This study investigates a unique phenomenon series novel triboelectrification‐induced materials, Sr 5 (PO 4 ) 3 X:Eu 3+ (X = F, Cl, Br). These exhibit the situ ionic valence state transition excitation behaviors Eu ‐Eu 2+ ion pair by utilizing inherent properties triboelectrification cause significant differences emission spectra during photoluminescence process. The redox reactions ions process influenced synergistic action shuttle (suitable potential), (driving force), vacancies (catalysts).
