In a quest to explore interconvertible assemblies of hydrates cobalt(II), copper(II), and zinc(II) 2,6-pyridinedicarboxylate (26-pdc), complexes having cation chloro-substituted analogue N-{(10-chloroanthracen-9-yl)methyl}-3-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)propan-1-amine were investigated. the case cobalt copper complexes, crystallized stable hydrate less methanol guided by concentration-dependent crystallizations. Organic-inorganic hybrid manganese(II) halides (OIMnHs) have garnered tremendous interest across a wide array of research fields owing to their outstanding optical properties, abundant structural diversity, low-cost solution processibility, and low toxicity, which make them extremely suitable for use as new class luminescent materials various optoelectronic applications. Over the past years, plethora OIMnHs with different dimensionalities multifunctionalities such efficient photoluminescence (PL), radioluminescence, circularly polarized luminescence, mechanoluminescence been newly created by judicious screening organic cations inorganic Mn(II) polyhedra. Specifically, through precise molecular engineering, series near-unity PL quantum yields, high anti-thermal quenching excellent stability in harsh conditions devised explored applications light-emitting diodes (LEDs), X-ray scintillators, multimodal anti-counterfeiting, fluorescent sensing. Abstract Homochiral halide perovskites have gained increasing attention because of their fascinating optoelectronic properties and prospective applications in laser technologies. However, the limited choice chiral organic templates severely restricts structural diversity second‐harmonic generation (SHG) effects. Here, we present an situ template approach for synthesis one‐dimensional (1D) homochiral lead iodides. A imine (L‐ipp) was generated by reacting L‐proline (L‐pro) acetone under ambient conditions. Notably, L‐ipp can cooperate with L‐pro to direct formation a iodide dual templates, which is unprecedented crystalline metal halides. Abstract In this study, a pair of chiral manganese(II) complexes is reported based on phosphine oxide, denoted as R/S‐[(L) 2 MnBr]Br (L = 5,5′‐bis(diphenylphosphine oxide)−4,4′‐bi‐1,3‐benzodioxole). These exhibit distinctive five‐coordinated crystal structures and high stability. addition, display intense red luminescence at room temperature demonstrate outstanding circularly polarized property, featuring dissymmetry factor values +1.56 × 10 −2 −1.94 , respectively. By integrating S‐[(L) with commercial phosphors, white light‐emitting diode successfully fabricated correlated color 4512 K, achieving remarkable rendering index 96.9. Furthermore, exceptional scintillation performance observed in the target compounds ultimately showcase X‐ray imaging spatial resolution up to 11.9 lp mm −1 . This endeavor imparts invaluable insights for advancement prospective multifunctional manganese(II)‐based luminescent materials.

Abstract Chiral hybrid metal halides hold great potential as circularly polarized luminescence light sources. Herein, we have obtained two enantiomeric pairs of one‐dimensional chiral manganese(II) chloride single crystals, R / S ‐(3‐methyl piperidine)MnCl 3 ( ‐1) and ‐(3‐hydroxy ‐2), crystallizing in the non‐centrosymmetric space group P 2 1 . In comparison to ‐1, ‐2 crystals not only show red emission with near‐unity photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) high resistance thermal quenching but also exhibit an asymmetry factor g lum ) 2.5×10 −3 , which can be attributed enhanced crystal rigidity resulting from hydrogen bonding networks between piperidine) cations [MnCl 6 ] 4− chains. The activities originate asymmetric luminophores induced by N−H⋅⋅⋅Cl piperidine). Moreover, these samples demonstrate application light‐emitting diodes X‐ray scintillators. This work shows a highly efficient photoluminescent Mn‐based halide offers strategy for designing multifunctional halides.

Abstract Layered hybrid organic–inorganic metal‐halide perovskites (HOIPs) can acquire chirality from molecules incorporated into their structure showing exciting possibilities in optoelectronics and spintronics. However, researchers have focused attention on the study of bulk compounds, namely unstable toxic Pb HOIPs. Herein, chiroptical properties R‐ S‐β‐methylphenethylammonium Mn chloride HOIPs are reported both few‐layer limit as exfoliated flakes. Red photoluminescence (PL) emission originating octahedrally coordinated 2+ is observed, with a PL shift to longer wavelengths when passing Circular dichroism circularly polarized mirrored‐signals for enantiomers found samples, while flakes, degree (P) up 17% at 80 K achieved, comparable Pb‐based Moreover, angle‐resolved measurements flakes show that P isotropic. These findings highlight potential these spin‐optoelectronic applications.

Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) materials have developed rapidly in recent years due to their wide application prospects fields like 3D displays and anti-counterfeiting. Utilizing energy transfer processes chirality has been proven as an efficient way obtain CPL materials. However, the physics behind energy-transfer induced is still not clear. Herein, a well-designed heteronuclear CeIII-MnII complex system [(Ce((R/S)-L)Br(μ-Br))2]MnBr4 [(R/S)-L = (2R,3R)- or (2S,3S)-2,3-dimethyl-1,4,7,10,13,16-hexaoxacyclooctadecane] with intra from CeIII MnII, dissymmetry factor of MnII obtained by excitation around 10 times higher than that direct while center itself shows almost negligible CPL. To address this unusual phenomenon, we proposed new mechanism named structural relaxation (SRCT) where excited chiral donor amplified acceptor intramolecular interactions. As assistant proof, mixture CeIII-ZnII LaIII-MnII complexes inter showed no amplification. These results will inspire more breakthroughs nature development

The pressing demand for both established and innovative technologies to expand laser wavelengths has rendered high-performance nonlinear optical (NLO) crystals with large anisotropy indispensable. Here, centrosymmetric [SHC(NH2)2]2CdBr4 (1) pseudo-2D layered [SC(NH2)2]2CdBr2 (2), as well pseudo-3D noncentrosymmetric [SC(NH2)2]2CdCl2 (3) are successfully synthesized through the introduction of π-conjugated SC(NH2)2 groups. Compared ionic compound 1 containing full-halogen coordination tetrahedra, covalent compounds 2 3 featuring novel polar [SC(NH2)2]2CdX2 (X = Br, Cl) tetrahedral units demonstrate enhanced bandgaps (>4 eV) birefringences (>0.3@546 nm) due unique environment. Remarkably, exhibits a strong second-harmonic generation (SHG) response (2.1 × KH2PO4(KDP)), high laser-induced damage thresholds (30 AgGaS2(AGS), excellent water stability. birefringence is largest among hybrid halides NLO d10 metal cations. Detailed theoretical calculations confirm that such modified double-site dual functional building (FBUs) substitution an effective strategy designing superior materials SHG response, paving way development devices in related fields.

Abstract Stimulus‐responsive materials that exhibit efficient circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) have gained much interest for application in advanced smart photonics. Herein, the CPL‐active enantiomorphic 0D Sb 3+ ‐doped (R/S) 2 InCl 7 (R/S = R/S‐2‐methylpiperazine) are synthesized via a solution method. They show broadband yellow emission with near‐unity photoluminescence quantum yield and CPL asymmetry factor of 1.7 × 10 −3 . Their fascinating chiroptical activity should be attributed to chirality transfer self‐trapped exciton caused by strong electron–phonon interaction. Particularly, H O‐induced structural transformation is demonstrated obtain non‐emission ·H O after exposure humid environment. Importantly, exhibits unique nonlinear optical responses, rotation angle between quarter‐wave plate linearly can regulate reversible switching negligible luminescence. Moreover, white light‐emitting diode fabricated combining blue phosphors BaMgAl 17 :Eu 2+ , device tunable control positive warm light regulating linear polarizer plate. Based on responses programmable multi‐mode fluorescence encoding system constructed, four‐level information encryption three‐level encrypted 3D color codes also realized further proof‐of‐concept experiment.
