The transition of material transparency induced by mechanical stimulation plays a crucial role in information encryption, anti-counterfeiting, and smart windows. However, developing multifunctional composite film that simultaneously possesses high elasticity sensitivity, low energy consumption, reusability remains significant challenge. In this work, homogeneous photonic crystal SiO2 were modified commercial available coupling agent KH570, enabling it to be chemically bonded the PDMS polymer networks, which enhanced interfacial interaction allowed periodic structure return its original state effectively both before after stretching.
