The development of epoxy resin formulations from renewable feedstocks has been thoroughly explored in the chemical literature. A simple one-pot reaction involving sustainable phenolic molecules and epichlorohydrin results production monomers. These monomers can be cured with amines or anhydrides to yield cross-linked thermosetting resins. Although a wide variety recipes exist, there is notable gap application these engineering contexts. This primarily due lack comprehensive, standardized analyses recipes, which impede their potential use advanced composite applications. In this study, we reveal high-performance formulation utilizing epoxidized phloroglucinol derived brown algae combination an aerospace-grade amine hardener. processing thermomechanical properties are investigated using ASTM standard tests including tensile strength, flexural fracture toughness, interlaminar shear strength. Given detailed comparative analysis, partially recipe outperforms petroleum analogues.

Machine Learning (ML) has revolutionized various fields, enabling the development of intelligent systems capable solving complex problems. However, process manually designing and optimizing ML models is often time-consuming, labor-intensive, requires specialized expertise. To address these challenges, Automatic (AutoML) emerged as a promising approach that automates selecting models. Within realm AutoML, Neural Architecture Search (NAS) powerful technique design neural network architectures, core components It recently gained significant attraction due to its capability discover novel efficient architectures surpass human-designed counterparts. This manuscript aims present systematic review literature on this topic published between 2017 2023 identify, analyze, classify different types algorithms developed for NAS. The methodology follows guidelines Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methods. Consequently, study identified 160 articles provide comprehensive overview field NAS, encompassing discussion current works, their purposes, conclusions, predictions direction science branch in main pillars: Space (SSp), Strategy (SSt), Validation (VSt). Subsequently, key milestones advancements have shaped are highlighted. Moreover, we discuss challenges open issues remain field. We envision NAS will continue play pivotal role advancement ML, more wide range applications.

Twin matrix composites (TMC) are novel composite architectures where reinforcing elements embedded in a secondary resin to address various mechanical functions suited for diverse engineering applications such as morphing wings. Here, the first time, recyclable twin using micro-pultruded rods reinforcements will be manufactured. Within scope of work, design TMC mould which allows 0°/90°/0° reinforced layup discussed and created through additive manufacturing. Recycling remanufacturing conducted up 4 times, surface characteristics examined monitor effect recycling. Interlaminar shear strength made from fresh recycled investigated comparatively.
