Abstract Ligand‐protected heterometallic nanoclusters in contrast to homo‐metal counterparts show more broad applications due the synergistic effect of hetero‐metals but their controllable syntheses remain a challenge. Among nanoclusters, monovalent Ag‐Cu compounds are rarely explored much difference Ag(I) and Cu(I) such as atom radius, coordination habits, redox potential. Encouraged by copper‐catalyzed alkyne‐azide cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction, comproportionation reaction Cu(II)X 2 Cu(0) presence (PhC≡CAg) n complex molybdate generated core‐shell peanut‐shaped 66‐nuclear Ag(I)‐Cu(I) nanocluster, [(Mo 4 O 16 ) @Cu 12 Ag 54 (PhC≡C) 50 ] (referred Cu ). The structure composition nanocluster fully characterized. X‐ray single crystal diffraction reveals that has silver(I)/copper(I) nanocage protected fifty phenylacetylene ligands µ 3 –modes encapsulated two mutually twisted tetramolybdates. Heterometallic contains 54‐Ag‐atom outer ellipsoid silver cage decorated copper inside wall. Nanosized is ‐type narrow‐band‐gap semiconductor with good photocurrent response. Preliminary experiments demonstrates itself activated carbon supported /C effective catalysts for 1,3‐dipole between alkynes azides at ambient conditions. work provides not only new synthetic route toward also an important intermediate CuAAC catalytic reaction.

In this paper, a polynuclear heterometallic compound (H3O)[Al3Ni4(OH)6(MBA-NO2)6(H2O)6] (Al3Ni4, H2MBA-NO2 = 2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-5-nitrobenzoic acid) with seven-star disk metal core has been synthesized by the solvothermal method. Al3Ni4 good stability in water and several organic solvents, its solid powder shows photothermal effect under 980 nm laser irradiation, temperature can reach 138.8 °C within 100 s 1.0 W cm-2 power irradiation. Considering effect, evaporation of was measured. It be further used as material seawater evaporation.

Abstract Reported herein is a ligand engineering strategy to develop photoelectric active metal nanoclusters (NCs) with atomic precision. Triphenylamine (TPA), typical organic molecule in the field, introduced for first time prepare atomically precise NCs that prove effective fabrication of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The scalable synthetic prototype, unique electronic strucuture, and structure cluster ([(AgCu) 37 (PPh 3 ) 8 (TPA‐C≡C) 24 ] 5+ are illustrated this work. When being employed as buffer layer perovskite/HTL interface PSCs, significantly enhanced performance observed. resultant n‐i‐p devices achieved substantial power conversion efficiency high 25.1% long‐term stability. findings offer valuable insights into preparing functionalized play multiple roles improving device: while inorganic core enhances conductivity, TPA shell promotes “carrier transfer” between HTL prevents from corrosion.
