Abstract Using two structurally similar polymer acceptors in constructing high‐efficiency ternary all‐polymer solar cells is a widely acknowledged strategy; however, the focus thus far has not been on how acceptor(s) would tune aggregation of donors, and furthermore film morphology device performance (efficiency stability). Herein, it reported that matching celebrity acceptor PY‐IT donor PBQx‐TCl results enhanced H ‐ PBQx‐TCl, which can be finely tuned by controlling amount second PY‐IV. Consequently, efficiency‐optimized PY‐IV weight ratio (0.2/1.2) leads to state‐of‐the‐art power conversion efficiency 18.81%, wherein light‐illuminated operational stability also along with well‐protected thermal stability. Such enhancements stabilities attributed optimization desired glass transition temperature target active layer based comprehensive characterization. In addition being high‐power case for cells, these are successful attempt using combined toward optimal morphology, provides theoretical basis construction other types organic photovoltaics beyond cells.

However, the advance upscalable challenged by thickness active layers considering importance both exciton dissociation and charge collection. In this work, bulk‐heterojunction‐buried (buried‐BHJ) structure introduced sequential deposition to realize efficient collection, thereby contributing OSCs with 500 nm thick layers. The buried‐BHJ distributes donor acceptor phases in vertical direction as transport channels, while numerous BHJ interfaces are buried each phase facilitate simultaneously. It found that configurations possess rapid transport, resulting reduced recombination losses. comparison traditional structures, displays decent tolerance film thickness. particular, power conversion efficiency 16.0% achieved at nm. The introduction wide bandgap polymer donors (PDs) as third component canbetter utilize sunlight and mechanical thermal stability active layer. However, efficient ternary OSCs (TOSCs) with two PDs are rarely reported due inferior compatibility shortage match acceptors. Herein, PDs‐(PBB‐F PBB‐Cl) adopted in dual‐PDs systems explore underlying mechanisms their photovoltaic performance. findings demonstrate that components exhibit excellent miscibility PM6 embedded host donor form alloy‐like phase. A more profound mechanism for enhancing through dual mechanisms, guest energy transfer charge transport at donor/acceptor interface, has been proposed. Consequently, PM6:PBB‐Cl:BTP‐eC9 TOSCs achieve PCE over 19%. Furthermore, better than binary reduction spatial site resistance resulting from tightly entangled long‐chain structure.
