Abstract As is known, the external excitations, material parameters, and ambient environment may affect electromechanical properties of dielectric elastomers (DEs), which directly induce occurrence electrical breakdown. In this paper, we experimentally theoretically studied effects voltage ramp rate, humidity, electrode material, pre-stretch on deformation breakdown DEs. By coupling above four factors, nonlinear constitutive model viscoelastic DE are developed, shown to be consistent with experimental observations. Firstly, when voltages different rate loaded same value, a larger leads smaller stretch higher field strength elastomer. Besides, as humidity increases, increases decreases. addition, it found that materials show diverse sensitivity field. Finally, increase from 2 4, both an upward trend.

Currently, multi-posture robots have complex grasping robotic manipulators with low power density, making it difficult to miniaturize and integrate. In this paper, a manipulator actuated by shape memory alloy different functional modules is presented. It composed of deflection, translation, rotation modules. Based on D-H parameter method, the end motion trajectory model established space drawn. Finally, experiment light circular object carried out verify validity function multi-module combination manipulator, which provides choice for future intelligent robot manipulators.
