Diaryl ketone derivatives include well-known compounds with important physiological and biological properties. In order to prepare diaryl derivatives, we constructed a pallidum (0) complex immobilized on Fe3O4 nanoparticles modified aminobenzoic acid phenanthroline [Fe3O4@ABA/Phen-DCA-Pd(0)], evaluated its catalytic performance for carbonylative Suzuki-coupling reactions of aryl iodides boronic in the presence Mo(CO)6 as CO source under mild conditions. FT-IR, SEM, TEM, EDX, VSM, TGA, XRD, ICP-OES Elemental mapping techniques were employed identify structure Fe3O4@ABA/Phen-DCA-Pd(0) nanocatalyst. Different acids containing withdrawing donating functional groups studied preparation ketones. Also, various heteroaryl used desired products prepared high yields. The nanocatalyst was separated magnetically reused 7 consecutive times without reducing activity. TEM spectroscopic confirmed that synthesized catalyst still stable maintained despite repeated reuse.

Abstract Chiral aldehydes containing a tertiary stereogenic center are versatile building blocks in organic chemistry. In particular, such structural motifs bearing an α,α‐diaryl moiety very challenging scaffolds and their efficient asymmetric synthesis is not reported. this work, phosphoric acid‐catalyzed enantioselective of from simple terminal alkynes presented. This approach yields wide range highly enolizable good with excellent enantioselectivities. Facile transformations the products, as well bioactive molecules, including effective anti‐smallpox agent FDA‐approved antidepressant drug (+)‐sertraline, demonstrated.
