Excessive residues of fluoroquinolones (FQs) in aquatic products have become a growing issue recent years. Herein, we demonstrate an upconversion fluorescence nanosensor constructed by one-stone-two-birds strategy, where Fe3+ not only quenches with high efficiency but also specifically recognizes the bidentate ligand structure FQs. Compared to existing methods, proposed sensor is simpler synthesize and cheap has more storage stability due unification quencher recognition molecule. Crystal engineering of metal halide hybrids is critical to investigate their structure-property relationship and advance photophysical applications, but there have been limited efforts employ coordination chemistry precisely control the dimensionality sublattices. Herein, we present a coordination-assembly synthetic strategy developed for rational modulation lead dimensionality, realizing transition from 2D 3D architectures. This manipulation achieved by utilizing three organocarboxylates featuring identical cyclohexane backbone unit. Specifically, 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate 1,2,4,5-cyclohexanetetracarboxylate ligands facilitate formation quasi-2D layered structures, characterized weakly corrugated strongly layers, respectively. Single-component white light emitters are particularly attractive for fabricating economical solid-state devices display and lighting. Herein, an efficient with photoluminescence quantum yields approaching 98% has been obtained in Mn2+ Pb2+ co-doped Cs7Cd3Br13 crystals. The quantified bonding nonbonding characters calculated by the crystal orbital Hamilton population analysis demonstrate that occupy preferentially [CdBr4]2– tetrahedrons rather than [CdBr6]4– octahedrons Cs7Cd3Br13. According to PL spectral characteristic theoretical results, broadband emission from Cs7Cd3Br13:Pb2+,Mn2+ crystals is ascribed multiple origins, i.e., first self-trapped exciton (STE1) intrinsic trapping states of host lattice Cs7Cd3Br13, d–d transition Mn2+, second (STE2) induced introduction Pb2+, respectively. results density functional theory reveal incorporation significantly improved thermodynamic stability structure lower defect formation energies, which verified experimental observation temperature-dependent spectra emitting findings here provide a new perspective single-component via creating centers single matrix as well help elucidation preferential site occupancy mechanism dopants different symmetrical units.
