Abstract Herein, we report a multidimensional screening strategy to discover Electron Donor‐Acceptor (EDA) complex photochemical reactions using only simple photographic devices, such as webcams or cellphones, combined with TLC analysis. An algorithm was designed automatically identify EDA‐complex reactive mixtures in solution by processing digital images from 96‐well microplate, alongside results. The code detects the absorption region of mixture visible spectrum and quantifies color changes through grayscale values. Integrated automatic analysis further classifies colorimetric reactions, non‐reactive, potentially EDA complexes. Leveraging this platform, have developed new EDA‐mediated approach synthesize iminophosphoranes yields up 90%.

The photochemistry of noncovalent interactions to promote organic transformations is an emerging approach providing fresh opportunities in synthetic chemistry. Generally, the external substance necessary add as interaction partner, thereby sacrificing atom economy reaction. Herein, we describe a catalyst-free and interaction-mediated strategy access olefination N-tosylhydrazones using acetone solvent partner. This protocol also features broad substrate scope, excellent functional group compatibility, mild reaction conditions without transition metals. Moreover, gram-scale synthesis olefins generation pharmaceutical intermediates highlighted its practical applicability. Lastly, mechanistic studies indicate that was initiated via between N-tosylhydrazone anion, which supported by density theory calculations.

Abstract Here, we have successfully achieved the addition of difluoroacetate radicals to 2‐aryl‐3 H ‐indol‐3‐ones, enabling various difluoroalkylations C2‐tetrasubstituted 2‐aryl indolin‐3‐ones in a highly efficient and economical manner. It is worth mentioning that these difluoroalkylation compounds can be easily transformed into derivatives under mild reaction conditions. Control experiments suggest involvement ethyl radical species reaction.
