Abstract
The
deployment
of
small‐molecule
fluorescent
agents
plays
an
ever‐growing
role
in
medicine
and
drug
development.
Herein,
we
complement
the
portfolio
powerful
fluorophores,
reporting
serendipitous
discovery
development
a
novel
class
with
imidazo[1,2‐a]pyridinium
triflate
core,
which
term
PyrAtes
.
These
fluorophores
are
synthesized
single
step
from
readily
available
materials
(>60
examples)
display
Stokes
shifts
as
large
240
nm,
while
also
reaching
NIR−I
emissions
at
λ
max
long
720
nm.
Computational
studies
allow
platform
for
prediction

Abstract
Air
switch
cabinets
are
widely
employed
in
the
power
industry,
there
is,
however,
no
reliable
methods
for
detecting
partial
discharges
(PDs).
Because
fiber
optic-based
sensors
easy
to
install
and
have
anti-electromagnetic
interference
capabilities,
they
well
suited
PDs
detection
with
their
many
components
