Chiral 3D perovskites pose challenges compared to lower-dimensional variants due limited chiral organic cation options. Here, we present a universal and controlled method for synthesizing lead halide using amines or alcohols as templates. Introducing these templates PbCl2 in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) under acidic conditions induces the crystallization of R/S [DMA]PbCl3 (DMA = dimethylamine). The resulting structure aligns with used, stemming from helical Pb2Cl95– chain verified by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Furthermore, perovskite exhibits absorption circular dichroism (CD) signals high-energy band, enabling circularly polarized light (CPL) detection UV spectrum. A CPL detector constructed this demonstrates excellent performance, boasting an anisotropy factor photocurrent (gIph) 0.296. Our work not only introduces novel controllable crafting but also opens new avenues detection.

Abstract Chiral hybrid organic‐inorganic perovskites (HOIPs) have emerged as promising materials for optoelectronic and spintronic applications, leveraging unique properties such circularly polarized luminescence (CPL), nonlinear optical (NLO) emission, chiral‐induced spin selectivity (CISS). However, challenges remain in stabilizing these under environmental stresses precisely controlling chirality scalable use. This review summarizes five main strategies to induce HOIPs, i.e., direct incorporation of chiral cations, surface modification with ligands, ion doping, template‐induced chirality, metasurfaces. Each approach offers distinct advantages optimizing CPL efficiency device stability, paving the way next‐generation applications detectors, information encryption, devices, etc.

Chiral organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides as promising circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) emitter candidates hold great potential for high-definition displays and future spin-optoelectronics. The recent challenge lies primarily in developing high-performance red CPL emitters. Here, coupling the f-f transition characteristics of trivalent europium ions (Eu3+) with chirality, we construct chiral Eu-based halides, (R/S-3BrMBA)3EuCl6, which exhibit strong predictable emission large photoluminescence quantum yield (59.8%), narrow bandwidth (≈2 nm), long lifetime ms), together dissymmetry factor |glum| 1.84 × 10−2. Compared previously reported these show highest brightness. Furthermore, degree polarization (R/S-3BrMBA)3EuCl6 can be manipulated by external magnetic field. Particularly, benefiting from field-generated Zeeman splitting spin mixing at exciton states, an anomalously positive magneto-photoluminescence was observed room temperature. This work provides efficient strategy constructing both pure-red It also opens door rare-earth toward optoelectronic spintronic applications. perovskites are materials luminescence. Here authors present leading to magneto-chiroptical properties.

Abstract Stimulus‐responsive materials that exhibit efficient circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) have gained much interest for application in advanced smart photonics. Herein, the CPL‐active enantiomorphic 0D Sb 3+ ‐doped (R/S) 2 InCl 7 (R/S = R/S‐2‐methylpiperazine) are synthesized via a solution method. They show broadband yellow emission with near‐unity photoluminescence quantum yield and CPL asymmetry factor of 1.7 × 10 −3 . Their fascinating chiroptical activity should be attributed to chirality transfer self‐trapped exciton caused by strong electron–phonon interaction.
