Published: May 1, 2025

The near infrared (NIR) optical window enables to observe biological tissue noninvasively through photoimaging using luminophores. Particularly, the light in NIR II region of 1000–1400 nm between strong absorption bands H 2 O and chromophores is advantageous for phototherapies deep tissue. Pt complexes possessing high emission ability luminescence tunability are expected be luminophores imaging photosensitizers photodynamic therapy. Herein, from designed by strategy extension ligand π conjugation aggregation Pt–Pt interaction recent works reviewed.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, Journal Year: 2024, Volume and Issue: 146(43), P. 29728 - 29734

Construction of π–π stacking supramolecular complexes with more than two different components is challenging due to the weak and directionless nature dispersion interactions. Here, we report ternary a ditopic nanographene tetraimide (1), α-substituted phthalocyanine (Pc), polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in solution crystalline state via allosteric regulation. Binding one Pc gives rise significant distortion conformational changes 1 that turn lead inhibition second binding Pc. The associated first allowed an third component form solution. 1H NMR titration revealed moderately high thermodynamic stability for CDCl3. Competition between allosterically regulated ([Pc·1·PAH]) 1:2 stoichiometric binary PAHs ([PAH·1·PAH]) was elucidated. Further, selective formation led generation cocrystals from 1:1:1 mixture three Our work shows large π-conjugated nanographenes designed recognition sites allow construction multilayer solid even dispersive
