Carbon dots (CDs) with circularly polarized afterglow (CPA) materials have drawn increasing attention as cutting-edge research in the field of chiral luminescence owing to their promising applications various fields. However, due weak optical activity CDs and limited color phosphorescent CDs, it is still a formidable challenge construct multicolor CD-based CPA high dissymmetry factor (glum). Herein, positively charged aggregation-induced emission (AIE) were prepared using dithiosalicylic acid ionic liquid precursors. Encapsulating AIE nematic structure negatively cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) films enabled production surprising warm white glum up −0.16. To further expand afterglow, phosphorescence resonance energy transfer between commercial fluorescent dyes was constructed CNC films. Finally, potential advanced dynamic information encryption explored by virtue different lifetimes.

Abstract Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) materials are attractive due to their unique applications in fields such as 3D displays, information encryption, and chiroptical switches. Natural biomolecules‐based CPL gaining plenty of attention chiral diversity sustainability. However, it is still challenging construct with opposite signs from a single natural biomolecule its inherent chirality. Here, assemblies using chitosan oligosaccharide (COS) achiral luminescent dyes successfully prepared. It found that COS can serve template induce the ordered assembly along polymer chain through electrostatic attraction interaction. demonstrated experimentally structural planarity dye molecules crucial for formation co‐assemblies. Interestingly, left‐handed COS‐templated co‐assemblies emit handedness, which controlled by helicity degree This study not only deepens understanding complex biomacromolecules but also provides new insights into design construction materials.

Carbon dots (CDs) with circularly polarized long afterglow (CPLA) properties have received increasing attention as a cutting-edge research field. However, because the CDs both and chirality are difficult to prepare color of most phosphorescent is mainly concentrated in short wavelengths, it still formidable challenge explore facile route achieve intrinsic CD-based color-tunable CPLA materials on large scale. Herein, we developed gram-scale synthesis method via simple hydrothermal mixture boric acid, arginine, various fluorescent dyes. The tunable successfully achieved by engineering situ phosphorescence resonance energy transfer (PRET) between formed carbonization arginine some dyes those uncarbonized Finally, applications CD composites multimode advanced anti-counterfeiting information encryption were explored.

Abstract White circularly polarized luminescence (WCPL) materials have attracted increasing attention in recent years owing to their numerous applications 3D displays, optoelectronic devices, and sensors. However, the use of single‐component WCPL solid‐state phosphors for display remains challenging. In this study, piperazine its derivatives are used as carriers construct solid luminescent materials. Aspartic acid served a chiral source prepare series carbon dots (Ch‐CDs) with tunable emission from cold warm white. The Ch‐CDs achieved maximum fluorescence quantum yield 34% asymmetry factor 5.1 × 10 −3 . Detailed photodynamic analysis revealed that intrinsic self‐trapped exciton state is primarily responsible spectral broadening Ch‐CDs. addition, formation curved nanoribbons identified key WCPL. Finally, white light film successfully fabricated, demonstrating potential light‐emitting diodes optical
