Methyl orange dye (MO) is one of the azo dyes, which not only difficult to degrade but also hazardous human health, therefore, it necessary develop an efficient photocatalyst MO. In this paper, a facile and low-cost elemental doping method was used for surface modification Ti3C2 MXene, i.e., nitrogen-doped titanium carbide as nitrogen source, strategy combining solvent heat treatment with non-in situ prepare N-Ti3C2 MXene two-dimensional nanomaterials high catalytic activity. It found that efficiency materials enhanced improved compared non-doped MXene. particular, 1:8 showed best photo-catalytic ability, demonstrated by fact material successfully degraded 98.73% MO (20 mg/L) under UV lamp irradiation 20 min, its about ten times photo-catalyst still good stability after four cycles. This work shows simplified heat-treating elaborates on mechanism showing effect due synergistic charge transfer surface-rich moieties. Therefore, has prospect in photocatalytic degradation organic pollutants.

Abstract Herein, adsorptive polyethersulfone/polylactic acid (PES/PLA) blends membranes with systematic concentrations of cellulose nanofibers (CNFs) (0.5–2.5 wt%) were developed via a modified phase inversion process for the enhanced removal cationic methylene blue (MB) dye. To best our knowledge, this is first time that such have been produced potential use in wastewater treatment. The fabricated characterized surface and cross‐sectional morphology (scanning electron microscope), roughness (atomic force functionality (Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy), thermal stability (thermal gravimetric analysis), wettability (contact angle measurements), antifouling behavior (flux recovery studies), dye adsorption reusability (adsorption desorption tests). CNF incorporated showed improved wetting properties, contact decreasing from 76° pristine to 48° 2.5 wt% PES/PLA membranes. membrane bulk porosity increased 60.3% 79.23%, while pure water flux 210.8 399.12 Lm −2 h −1 . At optimal conditions, CNF‐modified removed >98% MB compared 8% by After five cycles desorption, 2 CNFs achieved over 70% showing excellent properties. Adsorption followed pseudo‐second‐order Freundlich models. was attributed electrostatic interactions between negatively charged surfaces positively molecules as well through hydrogen bonding. Therefore, work revealed can be used adsorbents organic pollutants treatment applications.

This review comprehensively covers recent developments of cyclodextrin-mediated chemical transformations for green chemistry. These cyclic oligomers glucose are nontoxic, eco-friendly, and recyclable to accomplish eminent functions in water. Their most important feature is form inclusion complexes with reactants, intermediates, and/or catalysts. As a result, their cavities serve as sterically restricted apolar reaction fields promote the efficiency selectivity reactions. Furthermore, unstable reagents intermediates protected from undesired side The scope applications has been further widened through covalent or noncovalent modifications. Combinations them metal catalysis especially successful. In terms these effects, various reactions achieved high yield so that valuable chemicals synthesized multiple components one-pot cyclodextrin units orderly assembled polymers show cooperation advanced properties. Recently, cyclodextrin-based metal–organic frameworks polyoxometalate–cyclodextrin have fabricated employed unique applications. Cyclodextrins fulfill many requirements chemistry should make enormous contributions this growing field.
