Avian coccidiosis remains a problematic challenge in poultry farms worldwide, with increasing concerns about resistance to conventional anticoccidial drugs, highlighting the need for alternative control strategies. A total of 256 male broilers (Ross 308), 1 day old, were randomly assigned four experimental groups (eight replicates, each containing eight chickens) evaluate effectiveness phytogenic supplement against Eimeria spp. At 14 days, challenged via oral gavage mixture six strains live oocysts (4.0 × 104 per bird). The included negative (no anticoccidials or challenge), positive (coccidial challenge, no anticoccidials), phytogenic-supplemented diet based on alkaloids and flavonoids, (narasin nicarbazin). Fecal samples collected oocyst counts from 23, at 23 days (9 post-infection), intestinal lesions mucosa measurements evaluated. significantly lower than (with reduction 61.3% 71.6%, respectively, compared control) (p < 0.05), significant differences between anticoccidials. provided intermediate protection histopathological scores histopathology score but higher 0.05). No body weight, feed intake, conversion ratio, mortality observed across during trial, likely due moderate applied. In conclusion, demonstrated activity comparable narasin nicarbazin without compromising productivity, warranting further research into its mechanisms, impact, commercial application.

The normal development and growth of bones are critical for poultry health. With the rapid increase in rates achieved over last few decades, juvenile meat-type exhibit a high incidence leg weakness lameness. These issues significant contributors to poor animal welfare substantial economic losses. Understanding potential etiology bone problems will aid developing treatments diseases. gut microbiota represents largest micro-ecosystem animals is closely related many metabolic disorders, including disease. It achieves this by secreting secondary metabolites coordinating with various tissues organs through circulatory system, which leads concept gut–X axis. Given its importance, modulating influence axis presents new opportunities understanding innovative therapeutic approaches In light extensive literature on topic, review focuses effects density strength poultry, both directly indirectly, regulation Our aim provide scientific insights into health faced poultry.
