Purpose Anchored in the Natural Resource-Based View (NRBV) and Dynamic Capabilities theory, this study examines blockchain’s role facilitating firms' transition to a circular economy (CE), aiming provide robust framework for understanding interplay between blockchain, CE sustainability. Design/methodology/approach The uses an interpretivistic approach semi-structured interviews explore how blockchain can drive CE. Findings shows expedite shift through pollution prevention, product stewardship sustainable development, by leveraging dynamic capabilities (DC). It emphasizes as micro foundation of DCs, with these enabling NRBV strategic capabilities. Originality/value This investigates intersection CE, offering empirical validation conceptual revealing societal impact transition.

Purpose This study aims to address the link between green transformational leadership (GTL) and management practices (GMPs) achieve environmental stewardship (ES) in modern organizations while exploring mediating role of digital transformation readiness (DTR) moderating roles eco-friendly technology adoption (ETA) tacit knowledge (TK). Design/methodology/approach An empirical comprising a sample data 354 professionals was analysed on partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) 4.0 software. The hypotheses were developed using perspectives from natural resource-based view theory tested three-wave design. Findings major findings showed that GTL significantly impacted ES. direct effect GMP ES is substantial. DTR serves as an important mediator GMP. moderator variable ETA has considerable impact Furthermore, TK also acts substantial Practical implications Encouraging may ultimately help enhance corporate reputation increase operational efficiency cost savings. It would enrich employee engagement improve retention by fostering innovation. ABSTRACT Although digitalization and circularity are two major topics today, studies on their relations also effects firm outcomes still scarce. In this regard, revealing the impact of digital capabilities circular economy practices how they relate to performance advances related literature. Moreover, there is no study in literature strengthen relationship between practices. Accordingly, research investigates with moderating effect technology‐environmental business strategy alignment. Furthermore, impacts environmental economic examined. Based survey data from 204 manufacturing firms, reveals that practices, alignment strengthens relationship. It further demonstrated indirectly affect through mediating role This research, therefore, opens a new avenue for future exploration contributes by providing novel in‐depth explanation demonstrating strengthening alignment, within context developing country. offers thorough perspective practitioners provide greater value importance performance.

Purpose Achieving sustainability within supply chain operations is widely considered to boost firms’ competitiveness and bottom line. Thus, researchers have examined the implications of sustainable management (SSCM) practices on firm performance outcomes, albeit with inconclusive results. Also, significant unexplored gaps exist regarding intervening role integration (SCI). Anchored in political economy theory, this study explored how different forms SCI mediate relationship between each triple-bottom-line (TBL) pillars SSCM performance. Design/methodology/approach The research model associated hypotheses were tested using 455 survey data obtained from a cross-section Ghanaian firms partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. Findings results indicate that all TBL dimensions significantly positively impact Nevertheless, various link differently. Specifically, findings reveal customer internal Supplier mediates relationships economic environmental aspects but not social dimension Originality/value This fulfills noteworthy literature gap by providing empirical evidence mediating translating into better performance, especially context developing country. it offers guidance for leverage strategic partners implement effectively and, turn, ensure
