ABSTRACT The study aims to explore the relationships between service failure severity, negative emotions, level of dissatisfaction, switching intention, and intention spread word‐of‐mouth (nWOM) in restaurant context. Additionally, it seeks investigate how customers' perceptions controllability stability failures moderate these relationships. Employing a quantitative research approach, data collection was conducted through surveys using convenience sampling method, resulting 561 valid responses from Turkish customers. collected underwent multi‐group structural equation modeling examine proposed relationships, revealing that severity positively impacts emotions dissatisfaction levels, influence nWOM, levels affect nWOM. Furthermore, both play moderating role thereby confirming stimulus, organism, response model significant extent.

Abstract Video‐on‐demand platforms encourage binge‐watching (BW) to stimulate consumers' paid subscription. Despite decades of research, prior studies have yet reach a consensus on the definition BW, which results in inconsistent findings regarding its effect subscription behavior. Drawing stimuli‐organism‐response theory and parasocial interaction studies, we develop conceptual model explore causal mechanism that links consumer organism (attractiveness, identification, involvement, interaction), responses (impulsive subscription).
